(Y/N) POV

"Done," I say as I hold up the scanner I just finished. I turn it on and a red dot shows up. I find the blue dot telling me where I am, and I look for the closet red one....looks like 1 km away

I slowly walk toward it as I sneak around.

I see a Grimm, not sure if I should be happy and glad that the device works, or scared because I have no weapons. I slowly walk back to the house, and lucky the Grimm didn't notice.

"Ok, time to connect it to a more powerful Receiver," I mutter to myself as I walk into the Eagle.

"Lizart, can our comm unit be used for this?" I ask

"Why are you asking me?" She asks

"I don't know, maybe you know," I say as I make my way to the Engine room

"Well I certainly do not," She says as I find the main computer of the aircraft. I start carefully moving wires around until I can find the comm unit. I study the motherboard and pull apart the device I made just to grab the chip that makes the magic work

I inserted it into a slot in the comms and sure enough, it fits like a glove.

"Now, let's see if this works?" I ask myself as I use my semblance to see what the comms are picking up.

Sure enough, I can see the red dot 1 km away and much more. Since it's able to track signals and receive them. I can't see a clear image of my environment. It's more as if all I can see is darkness but with some signals and red dots. I find huge clusters of red dots.

All this, just to find Salem. I'm sure she will be surrounded by Grimm, that's the only reason why I built this device....to find Salem

I continue studying the clusters of red dots. I finally settle on one...this one must be where Salem is.

I waste no time. I stop using my semblance and I enter the house

"Summer," I call out

"In the kitchen," she says as I follow her voice

"What's up?" She asks as I enter the room

"I found Salem," I say as she turns around

"Where!" She asks

"She's on the move, We can get her if I move now," I say

"I'm coming," Summer says as she wraps up what she was doing

"No, you can't, I need to know you'll be safe or else I'll be distracted...and the safest place is here," I tell her as she looks at me with lost eyes

"Are you leaving again? Like the last time!" She yells in anger as her eyes get watery

"No, it's not lik--," I begin

"No! You're not leaving if you're not coming back!" She yells as tears start streaming down her face

"Do you know, how much it hurt to watch Ruby grow up without you by my side?" She asks as she looks at me with desperate eyes

"No, but I do know how it feels knowing that my daughter grew up without me," I say with my flare in my voice

"But, watching her grew up more is not worth her life. Salem wants her dead! I don't know why. But she does. If we don't do this, it will only get worse...I'd love for you to come with me. But if something happens. Ruby would only be losing one of us...not two," I say as my own eyes tear up

Summer sobs in front of me. I caused this. It's my fault. My heart hurts seeing her so sad.

"How'd you think she would feel if during her wedding she didn't have her father walking her down that aisle," Summer cries
