Once Lydia finally arrived at the babysitters house she let out a long sigh and stopped her car, looking over at the small house.

Every light was off inside the house, making it seem as though nobody even lived in it.

Lydia glanced down at the time on her phone, reading "11:26pm"

She sent a quick text to Richie, telling him she had arrived at the babysitters house... just incase if something happened so he would know

Lydia slowly got out of the car and put her phone in her back pocket as she locked her car and looked all around her, feeling paranoid

She walked towards the door and lightly knocked it.

As she waited to see if someone would come to the door she continued looking around her, expecting to see a clown hidden in the bushes, watching her

Lydia turned back towards the door and knocked it harder causing the door to slowly swing open, letting out a squeak

"This is how every fucking horror movie starts..." Lydia whispered to herself before walking in

It was funny how much Lydia had changed since she was younger, you'd very rarely hear her swear before but I guess since Richie was her brother and best friend, causing her to be with him all the time, she picked up on some of his habits.

Lydia quickly walked to the kitchen to find a weapon.... just incase

A small creak came from down the hall so Lydia grabbed the first thing she could, which ended up being a fork and hid behind a wall, holding her breath.

The only light coming through the house was from the moon outside and the streetlights, barely lighting up the house.

Lydia closed her eyes and tried to calm herself down as the sound of someone slowly walking closer and closer could be heard throughout the silence

The footsteps stopped right behind the wall where Lydia stood and so she opened her eyes and took a deep breath before turning around the wall, fork up in the air, ready to attack

"WOAH!!" a voice spoke loudly, grabbing Lydia's arm and ducking down quickly to avoid being stabbed by the fork

Lydia immediately recognised the voice and looked at the person in front of her with a confused look, although through the darkness you could barely see the person, Lydia knew who it was

"Stan?!" She whisper yelled

Stan let out a dry laugh and looked at the fork in her hand that he was still holding up "can I let go of your arm now or are you going to stab me with your.. weapon" he spoke quietly, trying not to laugh at the fork

"Stop laughing. It was all I could grab." Lydia whispered, lifting her arm down but still staring at him confused

"...are you going to say something or just stare at me like that..?" Stan whispered
