BIO:
Aomine Daigo is Aomine Daiki's younger twin brother. Instead of going to Touou with his older brother, Daigo ends up attending Seirin to get away from his brother, and where he signs up for their basketball club. He also ends up meeting Kagami Taiga. They start becoming best friends and eventually Daigo ends up falling in love with him. That is until Kagami meets his brother and makes the connection that they're siblings. Though it doesn't stop Kagami from being friends with him since Daigo isn't as cocky as his brother is. They start to date at the beginning of the Winter Cup. In the Last Game, Daigo joins with Vorpal Swords in the revenge match against Jabberwock.

PERSONALITY:
Unlike his brother, Daigo has a very calm personality. He only opens up to people he trusts and he's not perverted like his brother. Besides being the splitting image of Daiki, he also has his bad temper.

ETYMOLOGY:
• The name Daigo means "big, great" (大) (dai) and "tiger" (虎) (go).
• Daigo's surname Aomine means "blue, green" (青) (ao) and "peak, ridge" (峰) (mine).
• The kanji "青" (Ao) in his name means blue, hinting to his hair color, but in Chinese, it could both mean blue and green.

• Daigo's type of guy is someone who has a passion for what they love.

• Daigo was also Momoi's childhood friend.

• His best subject is Math.

• He loves drinking iced tea.

• His sexuality is pansexual.

• Daigo is the only player on the Generation of Miracles that was brave enough to punch Akashi in the face.
