OMG IM FREAKING OUT...ok, ok, let me explain from the beginning...
when i last went to dymocks i was in a hurry but I noticed an autographed skulduggery pleasant cardboard thing sort of like my standee you saw in previous chapters. Dymocks have a lot of those type of things but this one was sitting at the back of the store not near any of the sp books just collecting dust. I was in a hurry so i didn't think about it much but today I was in the city and i remembered it so i went into the shop and with dad waiting out the front i went to ask if they wanted someone to take it off their hands.
Now I am quite a shy person but i took a deep breath and asked...
Me: excuse me, i just happen to be a skulduggery pleasant fan and I saw this thing and its sitting out the back and well I was wondering if I could take it off your hands.
Staff lady: no sorry love i doubt we'll ever give that one away but let me check in our storage if theres any other signed skulduggery stuff I can give you.
So she went into the storage and rummaged around and 2 minutes later I was walking away with a massive grin on my face and the signed poster you can see above tucked under my arm. So the moral of the story is:
the dymocks staff are awesome.
OR
if you don't ask you don't get.
But i prefer the first one.
