I was laying in bed cuddled up to Austin when his phone rang.
"Austin" I said trying to wake him up.
"Austin" I shook him.
"Hmm" he hummed in response.
Then he grabbed his phone answering it.
"Yeah. What.......damn....send me your location" he said before getting up and putting on his clothes.
"Where are you going" I asked.
"My baby moms in the hospital" he answered walking out the room.
"What happened" I asked.
"Baby. I won't know until I get there" he said before grabbing my face and kissing my lips.

After arriving at the hospital Stephanie's sister, sienna greeted me with a hug.
I seen their mother, crystal in tears.
"What happened" I asked.
"When was the last time you seen Stephanie" crystal asked me.
I had to think. "It's been some days....can someone just tell me what happened" I said.
"She was shot-"
"Sienna" crystal said cutting her off before she started crying.
Then a doctor walked over to us.
"Mrs Rogers. I deeply apologize but we did all we could. One of the bullets that hit her punctured her left lung. And after removing it she was unresponsive" the doctor said.
Crystal started crying extra hard.
I didn't know what to say. Last time I seen her we were arguing.
Sienna is missing out on an older sister and Aj is missing out on his mother.
I helped crystal out to her car and hugged sienna goodbye.
"If you need anything just call me okay" I said to sienna and she nodded.
I've been around this family since forever. They were my family when I had nun.
I got in my car trying to think about how I was going to tell my son.

My mom informed me about a shooting that happened in Miami.
I was worried about Znuie and the kids.
So I decided to text her.

After knowing she was okay, I took a nap.

I heard Austin walk back into the house.
"Babe" I called out and he walked into the room, packing his stuff.
"You going back home" I asked but he didn't answer me.
"Austin" I said and he continued to ignore me.
So I got up and stood in front of him.
"What's going on" I asked.
I could see pain in his eyes.
I sat him down on the bed and he started crying.
I straddled his lap and hugged him.
"What happened" I asked.
"Stephanie" he said.
"What about her" I questioned rubbing his head.
"She's gone" Austin said moving my body off of his.
"Gone?" I asked.
He got up wiping his face.
"She passed away" he said grabbing his bag and stuff.
I was so lost of words. I don't know how I would react is melo died.
I got up hugging Austin from behind.
He started to cry again. Before removing my arms from around him.
He turned around and kissed my forehead.
He walked out the room and I followed him.
We both entered Leon's room and Austin picked up Aj.
"Austin you don't have to leave" I said and he ignored me and walked out of my house.
I was going to let him have his time. You know like give him space.
But I didn't want to fall asleep alone because then I would be worried.
So I brought my kids in there laying them on my bed before joining them.

"Are you coming" I heard Leon ask.
I opened my eyes to see melo on my screen.
"Yes baby" Lamelo answered.
Renzo was still sleeping and Lacey was looking at the tv.
"Mama daddy is coming down here" Leon looked back at me.
"When" I asked.
"Tomorrow" he answered.
I just turned the other way.
