Lee's POV
" Shayne " I murmured but it was enough for Kristian to hear
" Magkakilala kayo? " he asked
" No . "
" Nah "
We both answered in unison
"Actually, Business partners parents namin , We met one time at a party "
Pagpapalusot ko dahil baka tanungin niya ako kung bakit alam ko ngalan ni Shayne
" Well I gotta go . Classes are starting " pagpaalam ko pa sa kanila at dire-diretsong pumasok sa classroom
Since second day palang ng school year . Wala pa kaming serious classes at parang getting to know each other palang . My day went well . I had made few friends and my classmates are not boring . Ngayon, 3:00 na ng hapon at lahat ng mag-aaral ay magkakaroon ng meeting sa auditorium .
" Punta kang auditorium ? " someone asked me while I'm heading towards the meeting place
" Ikaw nanaman? " It was him again .
" Sama tayooo " he said joyfully and followed me
" Close ba tayo? " tanong ko sakanya dahil sunod ng sunod siya sa akin
" Hindi " tipid niyang sagot
" Eh ba't sunod ka ng sunod?" Naiirita kong tanong
" Hindi tayo close pero gusto ko maging close tayo " and then he flashed his most genuine smile
" Wag ako Mr. Jones . Lahat ng bagay may kapalit " then I rolled my eyes
" Paano kung ikaw ang kapalit? " and with that, napatigil ako sa paglalakad at lumingon sa kanya
" Passion first, and everything else will fall into place. " tipid na sabi ko at nagpatuloy sa paglakad
" Why are you here? Don't you have duties ? " may babaeng sumulpot sa harap ko and later on , I realized that she was talking to Kristian . Maybe it's his girlfriend
" Otw " tipid na sagot naman ni Kristian
Before answering him, nabaling ang attention ng babae sa akin and scanned me from head to toe
" Why are you with her?" naka kunot-noong tanong niya
" None of your concern " he said then grabbed my arm and we continued to head towards the auditorium
" Sit here . I'll be at the stage " he said and then guided me to a chair in front of the stage
" Why are you doing this? " tanong ko sa kanya
" You gave me smile that I once lost. " tipid niyang sagot at tumakbo papuntang backstage
" Weird . " I said and then shrugged off the cringey feeling
