Sunday| jayla's pov

I woke up at 11am because of a bunch of loud voices. It's Sunday and I didn't usually wake up this early but it's to late to go back to sleep now. I did all my hygiene stuff and got dressed.

I wore and white crop top shirt and some dark blue jeans from Fashion Nova of course. I was currently modeling for them so I got a lot of clothes. I didn't have work or any other plans so i was bored. I put on a natural make up look to pass time. After that i went down stairs to see who was making all that damn noise.

"Why are yall-" I said yelling a little bit

I stopped in to middle of my sentence once i saw who it was.

"My niece is finally up"My uncle Ace said

"My bad i didn't know yall was coming today" i said

"Girl you a damn lie i told you that yesterday" my mom said

"Oh yeah, i forgot about that" I said

" Where you going dressed like that?" Uncle Tay asked

"I don't know yet but imma find somewhere to go. I'm not staying here with all you old people." I said scrunching up my face

"I'm only 40 years old little girl" Uncle ace said

"Exactly thats old as fu-, i mean hell" I said

"You know better" My momma said

I ignored her and went look in the refrigerator for some food. It was so much to choose from so i didn't know what to pick.

I decided to make eggs and toast with blueberries on the side. I never ate an egg sandwich sooo long. After eating i went back up stairs to my room. I organized some stuff that was put outta place when i went to that party yesterday.

Every time I go somewhere my room gets flipped upside down. I need to learn how to pick up as I get dressed.

I checked my phone to see who could possibly be texting me. To be honest I wasn't cool with too many people so it was out of Taliyah and Caleb.

I knew it was Caleb so I went downstairs.

"Bye guys!" I told my family in the living room

"Be safe" Uncle Ace yelled

I went outside and opened the car door.

"I gotta pick up a cake then we heading to my crib" Caleb said

"Bet" Isaid scrolling down Instagram

We went into the store and grabbed the cake then headed to his house.

I wasn't nervous or anything because we been friends forever and our family know each other.

"Jayla you made it !" Ms. Carla said

"Yeah, I couldn't miss out on your good food." I replied

To be honest her cornbread and mac n' cheese is the best.

"I try my best" She said showing her pretty teeth

I then go into their living to talk to Caleb's grandma

"Hey Mrs.Cindy" i said

"how you doing my baby? You and Caleb made it offical yet?" She asked

"Umm, I don't know if that will ever happen but don't worry I'll still keep in touch with you" I said being as nice as possible

"Why that boy had to end up being so self centered like his daddy! His brother acts the same way but even more disrespectful. I want some great grand children." she said

"Thats a shame, but I'll talk to you later" I said, If didn't leave she would talk to me for hours.

It's not that I didn't like talking to her but now wasn't the time.

I went outside and sat on the patio watching kids play in the pool. I remember being that young with nothing to worry about.

"What you doing out here with all these kids?" Caleb said

"I'm chiling" I replied

"Come on I want you to meet my brother, its been a long time." he said

I follow Caleb inside the house to meet his .

"Look that's him right there, he just pulled up" Caleb said

When I saw the Caleb's brother I wouldn't believe it.
