We're on FaceTime and he's clowning me. He hasn't been over since the last time we ate dinner. I lowkey missed the company.
"What you doing today?" Reese asked
"I have a lil bit of homework nothing else tho."
"Put yo face in the camera jit." Reesepwith his hair
I grabbed my phone from on the bed and showed my face.
"Happy now?" I rolled my eyes
"Yuh." he said " I gotta question." He continued
"What?"
"You wanna go to the zoo?" He asked
"Umm, what about Journey? I don't have anyone to watch her." I explained
"You not leaving Journey home. My dawg wanna see the animals too." He smiled making his grills shine.
"Okay, so what time you coming bestie?"
"2."
"Alright." I hung up the phone
I picked up Journey and dressed her. She's began to cry.
"What's wrong stinka?" I poured
She continued to cry.
"We have to get dressed to go with Ree." I said
I remember when my mom used to blow on my stomach to make me stop crying so I did it to her. She began to laugh at me and I continued to dress her.
"All done stinka." I smiled in her face .
She reached out and pulled my hair. This lil girl is something else.
"Let go." I pulled her hands off.
She stared at me for a couple of seconds then laughed. I packed her diaper bag with the usual diapers, wipes, 2 extra outfits. I have a lunch bag with an ice pack in it to store bottle of breast milk in them. Once I had her stuff together I began to get dressed.
I put on a two piece blue jean set. Then I flat ironed my hair and did some natural make up.
"Bailey" I yelled
She came near the door way. "Huh?"
"Can you take me a picture?"
"Mmh."
I sat on the stairway and smiled. She snapped a couple of pictures.
"Thanks pooh." I said
"Your welcome."
