Cam's Basement | Jayla's Pov

The man who entered the room walked closer to me.

"Jay it that you?" He said

"How do you know my name?"

"It's me Caleb." He said pulling off the ski mask

"Can you help? Please." I said squirming in the chair

"Stay still I got you."

He untied the rope and helped me up.

"Thanks." I said avoiding eye contact

It was kinda awkward being in this room with my ex. It's unbelievable that all of theses things happened with the blink of an eye. What did I do wrong to deserve this?

Aww shit I'm crying anyways.

"You good?" Caleb came closer to me with a concerned look

I shook my head no. Why am I even showing him my emotions after all we've been through.

Caleb pulled my chin up so I could make eye contact with him. "It's gon be alright." He said
then hugged me. This wasn't an average hug. The hug made me calm and warm. I began to cry in his arms again. We stayed in the position for what felt like forever.

"Let's get outta this stink ass house." Caleb said leading me out with his arm around my waist

Cam's apartment was flipped up said down. There was blood all over on the floor.

"What happened?" I ask looking at Caleb

"Don't worry about it." He said and continued to walk

I crossed my arms. "See this is why our relationship didn't last." I mumbled

"Since you wanna know what happened so bad I kill the bitch ass nigga."

"Why?" I asking with a sad face

"For one he stole from my brother and he took my girl."

"Oh."

Caleb led me towards his car and I saw Cole and some other people that looked familiar.

"How she got here?" Cole asked mugging me

"Chill, she was in his basement." Cole said wrapping one arm around my shoulder

I moved his arm "Boy you going a lil bit too far."

"Man let's go." He said getting in the car

Once we got in Rod Wave blasted through the speakers. He's my favorite rapper. Rod wave never disappoints and he speaks facts.

"You wanna go to Chick-Fil-A?"

"Sure." I said

I layed back on the seat and decided to take a lil nap. While sleeping I felt a hand on my thigh. I was too tired to say anything so I left him alone.

35 mins later

Caleb was shaking my legs trying to wake me up "Jay whatchu want?"

"Mmmm."

He smacked his lips. "Can I get 1 spicy deluxe chicken sandwich 6 piece nuggets and 2 large fries. Lemme get Sprite and Frozen Lemonade also."

I smiled cause he still remembered what I liked to eat.

"I see you smiling. You ain't slick." Caleb said looking at me.

I pinched his cheeks ."I can't believe you remembered."
