Time seems to be passing by quickly as she stares outside through the vast windows of their school's library; Kaori failed to stay mindful of the hours she had buried herself unto the textbooks laid out on the tableーattempting to comprehend their recent lectures.

A despaired sigh escaped her lips while stretching her arms up, tiredness overwhelming her body. She stood up and began to arrange her scattered pens and the papers filled with scribbles and doodles from her previous classes.

However, as she rummages inside her bag, a few of her notebooks were not found; she groaned at this, knowing she will have to walk back to their classroom.

But an unfortunate cognizance hit herーnight class will be starting soon.

Kaori bit her bottom lip and hurriedly left the library, not wanting to be seen or meet someone this time. The dimmed hallways somehow gave her a perturbed sensation, and the gloaming outside had turned into a dusk, inducing everything around her to be caliginous.

Her feet heedfully trudged to the classroom, and it was calm with a deathly quietideーKaori swore to herself that this will be the last time.

She briskly walked towards her seat, and carefully placed the rest of her notebooks inside her bag; when a sensation of deja vu overwhelmed her. She shook her head, trying to divert her mind from the appalling thoughts.

Taking a glance at the clock in the room, Kaori discerns that she needs to head back to their dorm immediately, which she should have hours ago, because it was getting too late.

Slinging her bag back to her shoulder as she walks to the door, a feeling of ease came unto Kaori that she was alone this time.

But it wasn't for too long.

Her delicate hand that finally reached the handle, was then tarried when her eyes were swiftly veiled, and a disquieting sensation taking over her. A raspy voice as deep as the night could get, whispered tenderly next to her ear, sending chills of scares throughout her body.

"Your scent is so damn luscious, love."
