——– ┊⁀➷ 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐖𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐆𝐀𝐏𝐄𝐃 from the vile ephialtes, sending her back to reality; a body that almost immersed with the cold sweat of trepidation, hands shivering from what just brimmed her mind, chest quivering turbulently, and the pool of tears filled with vehement mixtures of her sentimentsーto Kaori, it was one of those twilights again.
She gripped unto her shirt rigidly and tightly in an attempt to resist and remove the hands encased around her neck, except it was only a feeling that refused to forsake and persists almost nightly.
To say that Kaori hated itーno, she deeply scorned the appalling memories that would creep unto her without a forewarning, and it tormented for untold nights as it toys with her body and mind.
Yet, that's not all.
A prickling ache rose to build upon her chest, and the pattering of her heart had gone frenzied; she craved to shout and scream in agony, but her voice is absent tonight, and could only clench her jaw tightly and grit her teeth in anger.
Her body began to excruciatingly enkindled, and she would thump and bury her fists between the rumpled sheets of her bed; repudiating repeatedly the small, yet perilous drop of vermillion inside herーKaori will never want to become like him.
Him, who mercilessly took her mother from her.
Then the caressing zephyr welcomed itself inside her room, inducing her to turn around; fixing her weary eyes outside the balcony that the was always kept unveiled, she gazed softly unto the crescent moon that gleamed fulgently upon the midnight blue sky with the tranquility that slowly, but surely fills her mind.
And just like Kaori yearned on nights like this, she had gone back to her normal state, letting her breathe painlessly.
Suppressing the remains of her bitter tears, she soon drifted away into a deep restful slumber, but she doesn't know long these memories that haunt her just as it pleases will remain in her.
