——– ┊⁀➷ 𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐄 that she was in no one's sight, she pushes the double-door privily and shut this faintly as feasibly with an appeased sigh escaping her lips. Kaori was instantaneously greeted by the resplendent and sultry sunset picturesqueーa resemblance of a candlelightーthe moment she turned around. Sending both hands inside the pockets of her jacket to rest, she began to trudge on her feet, ultimately leading her to a promenade behind the dorm buildings.

It was a vast paved pathway where vivid and resplendent city lights are not too far to be seen by the eyes as they cast across the river, coursing with the marmalade flushed sky above; leisurely veiled with the lulling zephyr as the pine trees whirled and pendulated, creating a sound of tranquillity along the foliage that susurrated against each other.

Kaori incessantly plodded under the mellow street lamps that illuminated her way, eventually coming to a halt as she rests her arms unto the railings. She watches the sunset turn into dusk with her eyes shutting slowly with an assuaging sentiment overwhelming her; flaccid strands of her hair carelessly fluttering behind her ears, as the breeze softly fanning her cheeks. It certainly enticed her more than her boudoir's endless stifling and deadening ambient.

This was her only fleeting moment to elude from her unbidden anamnesis; yet it still resisted to omit her mind even now.

Kaori evokes the bitter hush of night, where the harrowing event first transpired with no augury with an odious full of appalling and detestation sentiments. It only apprised her one thing persistently: she is, unfortunately, the daughter of the man who took every bit of her mother's last breath right before her eyes that trickled and bled grieving tears.

So she returned the favor to him.

Though it was the only obscure and nebulous memory Kaori has. She can't remember clearly how, but she certainly does not want to bring it into her mind, because in the end, she was no different from her father.

"It's quite late, don't you think?"

Her eyes abruptly opened from the unanticipated voice that came with no warning, casting them around only to halt on an ash-blonde boy who had a grin plastered on his lips; still under his disheveled uniform and tousled spiky hair with the strap of his bag hanging laxly over his shoulder and limply tieーit made her wonder why someone would moon over a such a guyーand it may be inauspicious for Kaori to be solely outside, it was too early for the night classes to end.

So why was he even here?

Kaori only returned a gander before turning on her heels, unsolicited for a natter, notably with him that may ensue into a helpless plightーyet he was sprier than her. Grabbing her free arm, he once again, barred her against the railings with his arms, inducing the female to lour at him with her knitted brows.

"What the hell do you want?"

"Oh, c'mon, you know what I want."

The daring girl stepped closer to him upon hearing this, and flashed a small smile that touched her crescent eyes. The ash-blonde boy heeded her frivolous face, requiting a grin with notions of desires for his appetence; gazing down at her, who evinced no dread or care.

There was a moment of silence that veiled them until her eyes and gaze, where his own tarried, had cast a gloom upon her countenance; Kaori was irrefutably full of burgeoning acrimony and cynicism.

She shoved him away without any fret, earning a dumbfounded ash-blonde; giving him one last look of aversion, she turned around from him without leniency, and the look of utter loathing she had must have clung unto his mind ever since.
