"why do you think i'm the last one, lucy? did i do something wrong? will i get a bad note instead of a nice one like you? what if this is all a prank to make me feel bad-" vicky rambled on, nerves crashing down on her beach of her mind.
"hey, vicky calm down, i'm sure it'll be something good." tony tried to console, but she gave him a little glare.
lucy tried to comfort her next, "seriously vicky, i'm sure it was just a nice deed that someone wanted to do. you definitely won't get something bad. no one is evil like that."
jungwon reached a hand over to soothingly pat her back. he was trying to work up his confidence, or there would be no way to succeed. "just be patient, vicky. i'm sure it'll be great!"
she focused closely on his dimpled smile, looking back up to his eyes. "thanks, wonnie."
there was something, almost magical, enchanting, and recognizable, about his eyes.
but she didn't have the chance to dwell on that thought. the bell run abruptly, signalling the end of the day.
