"When yo friend coming ta pick you up?" My momma mugged me from the couch. "I'm sick'a looking at you."
"Girrllla." I dragged sitting next to her. "Why you acting like youn luh me?"
"I do but you been here for three whole days doing nun but looking in my face." She mushed my head from kissing her cheek. "Yo brother come home today."
"I know." I said smiling. "I'm finna work his nerves." She laughed at me.
Aaliyah texted me saying she was outside. I hugged and kissed my momma before going outside and making our way to school.
* * * "Dat hoe always doing sum unnecessary shi." Pooh huffed walking to our lunch table.
"Who?"
"Knolton ugly ass." She rolled her eyes. "Bitch sent me to the office cuz i said her wig looking aluh stiff." She said making us laugh. "Sensitive ass shouldn't have said shit to me first."
"Y'all stay at it." Aaliyah laughed. "I'm surprised she ain't kick you out her class for real."
"She ain't got the b-." She was cut off by yelling coming from across the cafeteria. Somebody threw their milk ona girl causing her ta jump up yelling. A security guard got ahold of her but she was steady cussing, asking who did it.
"I hate this school." Redd, a friend of Aaliyah's said shaking her head watching them carry the girl out. "So damn ghetto and messy."
"On God but bitches we graduate this year." I did aluh dance in my seat. "I'm finna be outta hereee." I said swiping my hand under my chin.
After school Aaliyah drove and dropped me off at my brothers apartment.
I knocked on his door but ain't nobody come open it so i got his key from out the plants and let myself in.
"TYREE!" I yelled walking towards his room. "Getcho ass up." I hit him with a pillow.
"MANE, WHO THE F- get out." He threw a pillow at me.
