Today was finally my graduation day. I practically wasted the last 13 years of my life on  this shit but it was all going ta be worth it, today.

The ceremony wasn't until 5. I woke up around 11am to start preparing. Right now it was 1pm and my mom was braiding my hair down so i could install my wig.

"Your hurting my head." I hissed. This women is too fucking heavy handed.

I see how she felt the other day.

"My bad. I'm almost finished." A few braids later she was done.

"Should i apply makeup?" I asked her, laying my edges and putting on a bonnet.

"Umm, it's gonna be hot outside." She helped me put on the bonnet without messing up my hair. "You might sweat it off."

"You right." I nodded. "I'm just gone do lashes and brows."

"Hurry we gotta be at yo nail appointment in 30 minutes." She left the room.

I was getting my nails did by a celebrity nail tech in Memphis.

I needed the best of the best for today.

"Lord, my baby graduating todayyy." My mamma hyped while driving on the highway. "How you feel?"

I smiled. "Anxious, i'm ready for this to be over with finally." She nodded.

"Oooh, yessss." I hyped taking pictures of my set. "Look ma." I showed her.

"I hope you do like it, spent $70 fa dat shit." She said unlocking the doors.

We got home and i had my mom steam my gown. I took a shower and did my hygiene shit before i put on my outfit.

I wore a black fitted, off the shoulder dress and a pair of black heals. For jewelry i wore a silver necklace with my name on it and the Pandora anklet Jakari got her for her birthday.

I put on my gown and the cap i personally designed.

Me and my mom drove up to ceremony, which was held in the back of the school building.

Ty, Madison, and her parents were already there when we arrived.

That was the only family i had here today to watch me walk. My mom even told the rest of my folks about my graduation but they didn't come.
