Some teens have been abused and some are even being abused now. Not all abuse are sexual. We have so many other types of abuse that people tend to ignore. We have emotional abuse , substance abuse , physical abuse and so on. ×The physical abuse is linked to domestic violence and child abuse. × Emotional abuse is linked to not feeling wanted , being hurt by people you trust, giving silent treatment causing worry on the other person's end which can hurt them, using hurtful words and abusive insults or using past mistakes to abuse them, using their flaws to abusive them. And it can lead to suicide. ×And then there's sexual abuse this is connected to rape , sex trafficking etc.

Sometimes when someone's parent dies their own relatives take advantage of them, now these days people set up their friends and let people rape them and misuse them . So many people are being threatened by the people abusing them, and that results to people been abused to hide in their shell and bury themselves in their pain.

Emotional abuse is preying on other person's emotions without considering their feelings. It can come from social media too, in cases like cyber bullying . It can come in any form whether in a toxic relationship where the guy or girl uses abusive words on one another or it can be beating your partner up and hurting them by comparing them with other people making them feel like they are not good enough. A relationship is meant to be a comfortable place and a safe haven for both parties hence, no insults should be used whether you guys are just playing because not everyone can tolerate things. Some of those insults can get stuck in some people's memory.
