I drag my feet on my way to the front door, where loud and constant banging is coming from. I turn on the light in the hallway, just before I reach the door. I peek through the peephole to find Isaac on the other side. I set down the dagger I had in my hand and unlock the door. Yawning, I open the door, not caring that he is seeing me in my pajamas and slightly messy hair.

Isaac barges right in my apartment without saying a word. He spins around once he is past me. "What the hell have you been doing?"

I curl my lip at his harsh voice. "Sleeping." I glance at the clock on the wall. "You know, like normal people do at four in the morning." He just gives me a look. "What are you doing here?"

Isaac looks a little taken aback by my question. "You haven't gotten any calls or texts?"

"No." I shake my head, passing by him to head back in my bedroom. I walk to the side of my bed, picking up my cell phone that was set on the pillow. I press the home button to find that it doesn't light up, like usual. "It's off." I whisper, confused. I quickly turn it on, whirling around to face him. "I never turn my phone off."

"I knew I should have stopped by here first." Isaac runs a hand through his disheveled blonde hair.

My phone starts to chime and vibrate from missed text messages and phone calls. I click on one from Scott, reading, "Stiles was sleepwalking? Is he okay? What happened?"

"He's fine. They are bringing him to the hospital right now." Isaac explains. "He called Scott and Lydia thought he was at Eichen House, but Agent McCall found him."

I plop down on my bed, head falling into my hands. "I'm a terrible best friend. I- I should have been the one to find him."

Isaac sits down beside me. "Next time this happens, I'll come get you first."

"This better not happen again." I straighten back up. "No one is allowed to go sleepwalking or missing." My phone vibrates again. I grab it, clicking on my voicemails to see I have over forty.

A man speaking in Japanese comes out of my phone after a few minutes. I furrow my eyesbrows at the 'unknown' caller. Isaac reaches for the phone, his fingers brushing over mine as he grabs it. I hand it over. Our arms press up against each others as I press another voicemail.

"What is this?" Isaac turns his head my way. Our faces only seperated by a few inches.

        I shake my head. "I don't know."

Mr. Yukimura listens carefully to the voicemails left on my phone. Isaac and I could only think of one person who would be able to translate the voicemails for us. We didn't wait very long the next day to go up to Mr. Yukimura and ask for a translation.

"You're right. It's Japanese." Mr. Yukimura says while holding my phone in his hand. "Who left this on your phone?"

I shake my head from side to side. "I don't know. All of the messages are the same and they all say blocked ID."

Isaac peers down at our teacher. "Can you translate it?"

"Mostly. The man speaking is giving instructions actually. The first line is, "All evacuees are required to stay "at least 10 feet back from outside fences."

Isaac glances at me. "And what do that mean? What fences?"

"The fences surrounding a Japanese internment camp during World War II. After Pearl Harbor, Japanese-Americans were rounded up and put in camps. This man is reading instructions to prisoners upon their arrival."
