I sent Scott a text back, saying that I'm on my way. My apartment door shuts behind me and I check to make sure the door is locked. I abruptly stop walking towards the elevator when I see Allison standing in front of me. Her eyes are wide, maybe surprised that I just came out of my apartment at five in the morning. Why is she outside of my apartment?

"What are you doing here?" I demand.

"Came to see you." Allison speaks up after a few seconds of silence.  "You've changed a lot."

"I know." I cross my arms over the chest. "What do you want?"

Allison's eyes soften. "To talk?" I open my mouth to say something, but she holds up a hand to stop me from making words come out. "Actually, I just want to talk. You can listen."

I take a small step back to lean up against the wall. She probably wants to apologize for everything and now just wants her dear twin sister back. Too bad that's not going to happen.

Allison watches me, a bit of surprise in her eyes that I didn't walk away. "Look, I don't know what to say. What I did- what dad and I did- it was wrong. We shouldn't have treated you that way. We know that now. I don't know what came over us to treat you that way." She runs a hand through her wavy hair. "My heart literally breaks when I think back to all of those things I said to you. Gerald had gotten into my head and you tried so many times to save me, but I refused to get any help."

        I keep my face blank.

"I called you a disgrace you that night, but the truth is, that I'm the disgrace." Allison wipes away a tear that slides down her cheek. "I-I tried to kill you that night. What the hell is wrong with me? I was just so angry about Derek killing mom, that I thought you were no better than him."

"You know, the reason I left, the reason I felt so broken inside was because of you." I speak up, surprising her. "You destroyed me, Allison, but I want to thank you for doing that. I'm so much better than I was before. I'm stronger, faster, much more well trained, and I've learned I'm better off on my own."

"I'm sorry." Allison whispers, tears sliding down her eyes.

I shake my head. "Don't be."

        "You hate me now."

"No, I don't hate you. I'm done with you." I correct her. "Done with you and dad. Things will never go back to how they were. Things were never normal before anyways. I was constantly lying to you guys, afraid to tell you that I was protecting Derek because I knew that I would never be accepted by you guys."

Allison shakes her head, sadly. "Please-"

My cell phone vibrates in my hand again from a text from Scott. I glance down at it. "I need to go, Allison. Scott needs me."

        She sniffles. "But-"

"Goodbye, Allison." I brush past her.

Scott opens the  animal clinic's door and allows me to step inside of the dark building. Deaton is already sitting behind the counter on the phone with someone. I spin around halfway towards Deaton to face Scott. I open my mouth to ask him if it's true until my dad's voice comes from the phone on the desk behind me.

"Did you have any trouble with Ikeda?"

I whirl around to walk towards the counter with Scott. Ikeda must be the one that Deaton stole the lichen from to poison the Nogistune. The Nogistune that had tricked all of us last night that he was really Stiles. Foxes really are tricksters. No one saw any of it coming. He was so much like Stiles. That's how the Nogistune was able to cause some much chaos to feed off of it from Scott.
