"Can you get out of here, Eden?" Xerxes told Eaizen in a pissed tone.

"Why?" she asked. "Hindi ba dapat itong pokpok na ito ang umalis—"

"Don't insult my girl, woman. I'm warning you," mariing wika ni Xerxes. "Get out of my sight. Now."

Mukhang natakot si Eaizen pero pinanatili pa rin nito ang matigas niyang ekspresyon bago taas noong naglakad papalayo at naglaho na sa gitna ng napakaraming tao na nagsasayawan.

I felt Xerxes' hand touched mine. "Doll… don't mind her and the insults she gave you. She's not worth your—"

I jerked away. "Gusto ko nang umuwi."

Hindi ko na siya inantay na sumagot. I stood up from the high chair and immediately went out of the bar. I could sense him following me but I chose not to look back at him and just continued walking towards his car.

He ran when I was about to open the door of the shotgun seat and he opened it by himself. I went in and buckled my seatbelt before closing my eyes out of frustration.

"Doll, let's talk…" he softly worded.

"Pakigising mo na lang ako kapag nasa condo na tayo," I told him without opening my eyes.

I heard him heave out a sigh before starting the engine. He didn't talk after that, maybe because he thought I really am sleeping. But the truth is, I'm wide awake. I mean, how can I get the guts to sleep when my mind is very preoccupied?

"I guess X never mentioned to you about her and their kid who's now gone. I really feel bad about that kid, he didn't get the chance to live because X made Eaizen abort their baby."

Nygel's statement filled my ears again. Kinalimutan ko na iyon noon pero dahil sa kanina ay nagkusa ko nang naalala ang mga pinagsasasabi niya. Mauve said that what Nygel tells are all made-up stories and he uses them to destroy relationships like what happened before to Denver and Lance before. Pero bakit totoo ang Eaizen na sinabi ni Nygel?

Maybe Mauve doesn't know about Eaizen? Siguro lahat silang magpipinsan walang ideya pwera kay Nygel? Si Aleezah kaya, may alam? I want to ask her pero kasi, kapatid siya ni Xerxes. Baka mabanggit niya, knowing that she often blurt out secrets. Minsan ay nadudulas siya pagdating sa mga sikreto.

I felt the car stopped. I opened my eyes and directly went out of his car. Kaagad naman na sumunod sa akin si Xerxes patungo sa elevator.

"Doll…" he called.

"What?" I bluntly asked.

"Sorry for what happened back there. I should've defended you more from what that Eilean called you—"

"Not your fault," I cut him off and went out of the elevator when it reached the sixth floor.

I immediately went inside my room when I got inside my unit and I reached for the wipes on my vanity to remove my makeup. The door opened and Xerxes went inside holding a glass of water. He walked towards me and was about to hand me the glass when I stood up to throw the wipes at the small bin inside the bathroom.

I sat on my bed and started removing my heels but Xerxes stopped me from doing it. He kneeled down on the floor and removed them for me.
