 Val's POV

I stared over at Matt and Case with a look of disdain as the man I love embraced another woman.

My insides started to burn.

My fists clenched into tight fists.

I'll make Matt mines again.

No matter what the cost.

Case's POV

I laid flat on my back as I stared at the ceiling of the bus.

I sighed deeply.

There's this feeling that's been bothering me for a few days.

Its not something I can really explain.

Its not an ache in my body.

Its this horrible feeling of forbodding.

I feel like something horrible is about to happen.

And I can't seem to shake it.

I cringed  at the thought of what it might be.

I turned my head and saw Matts sleeping face and I smiled softly.

I brushed my fingers across his arm that was laying on my waist.

He stirred slightly and I stopped my fingers.

But Matts eyes shot open.

"Why did you stop?" He asked, pulling me closer into his body.

"I didn't want to wake you up. It backfired on me though." I said with a laugh.

Matt chuckled deeply and rolled me so I was facing him and laying on my side.

"I love you." He murmured.

I grinned from ear to ear.

"I love you too." I told him.

"I'm sorry about everything that's happened with Val." He said.

"Will you stop apologizing? You didn't do anything wrong." I said.

He looked down.

"Have I told you that I love you?" He said.

I giggled and pulled him so we were basically breathing the same air.

"Maybe once or twice. But feel free to say it as often as you like." I smiled.

Matt grinned and his smile that took my breath away spread across his face.

We laid there in each others arms just basking in the love that we felt for each other.

=========================

Another great show.

Absolutely no surprise there.

The guys were born to perform in front of thousands of people.

Besides having to deal with Val, the night went by smoothly.

The guys were performing 'Scream' and of course, Val had dressed up as one of the dancers and was shaking her ass at Matt.

I took in a deep breath and tried to reign in my anger.

'She's not worth it. She's not with it.' I kept telling myself.

The song started to come to an end and I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket.

I pulled it out and my eyes widened when I saw the number flashing across my screen.

A million thoughts and emotions courses through me.

My eyes narrowed and I flipped the phone open.

"I thought I told you not to call me anymore." I said angrily.

"Case, you have to come home." My sister Cassie pleaded.

My eyes widened in shock at the pain in her voice.

I listened quietly to her explanation as my eyes sought out Matt.

He was the only one that could comfort me in my times of need.

The only one who really understands me.

He brought me more comfort than anything.

My eyes froze as I saw Val with her arms wrapped around Matt.

She was grinning and he was smiling about something.

I took in a deep breath, trying not to let the odin of seeing them together, show on my face.

But as I continued to look at them, I realized something.

Val and Matt belong together.

They were childhood and high school sweethearts.

How did I think I could compete with that?

And the pain of that realization hit me like a freight train going at a hundred miles an hour.

"Case, are you still there?" My sister asked.

"I'm on the next flight out." I said, flipping my phone closed.

I took one last look at Matt before I turned my back to the couple and made my way to the bus to get my stuff.

Its gonna be a long flight.
