START OF THE PAST

"Do you miss me?" He nods slowly and she blushed as the sun stood high above them.

"Have you eaten already?"

"No." He said. Rhianne moves away and his body reacted as if something is missing. He tried to hug her but Rhianne touched her both arms and smiled.

"Let's eat." He can't help but smile too. How can he let her down?

"So, how was your work?" Rhianne said while they are eating. They are currently eating on the rooftop. They shared a year of relationship and a year of

hiding it.

This year is the prime and the most crucial moment of his career, he is currently a trainee in managing their family business. He also had a part-time job as a model, with his face and body it isn't a surprise that he is famous.

"I'm fine." He smiled while looking at her. Rhianne Condes is way too different from all the girls he used to date. She is simple, pure, and mine alone. She loved her job and he saw her dedication. It fascinates him when he saw Rhianne while working.

"You look gloomy, are you sure?" He nods and smiled, assuring him that he is ok.

"You have to eat properly, you can have your diet and maintain your body but you have to eat, ok?" There is only one thing that he doesn't know if he will adore or not.

Every time they see each other, she will nag him on her version of dos and don'ts. But he still listens.

"You have to sleep on time and don't-----" He grab a spoonful of rice and bring it to Rhianne's mouth. After a while, she eats it and smiled sweetly.

"Just eat first, we don't have much time for lunch" Even though they are happy, their relationship is kept secret because his father will never agree about his relationship with Rhianne.

His father has another plan for him and that is marrying Aurora. He never disobeys his father ever since he is a child, after all, he wanted his father to be proud of him. He knows it is difficult for Rhianne because they have to pretend that they are not close. He is thankful for her honey for she understands his situation.

"Here." Rhianne gives him a little box. His eyebrows twitch.

"What's that?" She opened it and it is a simple brace, he knows just one glance if it is real or not.

"Happy birthday, honey." He smiled, it is not expensive but it is special. Rhianne put it on his wrist and smiled. He loves her smile, this smile makes him

jealous especially when Rianne is smiling at her co-worker.

"Don't let other men see that smile of yours, it makes me jealous."

"Yes, Sir! And don't lose that bracelet; it will give bad luck if you lose it. "

"Yes, Mam." After they are finish eating. They give themselves a body-wrecking hug. Then she leaves first, after ten to fifteen minutes he left.

Months later

He is currently in a studio inside the Ernido building for the pictorial. He is standing in front of hanging clothes when he saw a familiar figure. He grabs his cell phone and text Rhianne.

"Why are you here?" After a second someone replied.

"Our department forms a special team to accommodate this pictorial event. I am one of them."

"I'm happy to see you!"

"Me too, I am just here, see you when I see you. Muahhh." He looked to where he last saw Rhianne. She is smiling at him and he can't help but smile more.

"Mr. Dean, you are next. Get ready. " He walks in front of the camera.

"Mr. Dean, may you put out the bracelet. It's not fitted to the overall style you are portraying." He hesitated first but for the sake of professionalism. Half-hearted he put his bracelet to the table near his stuff and proceeds to the pictorial. After the pictorial is finished he changes his clothes and gets his stuff and goes right through the door but an inch before the door he felt his heavy heart.

He searches his head if there is something he left behind and saw his arm wrist, his bracelet is missing.

He turned back, his heart starts to beats fast. His heart sank when he saw that there is no bracelet in the place where he left it.

"No, it can't be...".
