Sierra and I were here at the company's cafeteria to have our lunch. I placed my bag on the table and took my wallet and my phone. I looked at Sierra whose eyes were closed habang nakasandal ang likod sa upuan.

Since it's our last year in college, we became busy dahil sa On the Job Training namin. It's almost the end of it, though. Medyo nasanay na rin ako slight sa OJT namin, unlike Sierra.

"Pagod na pagod na 'ko, girl," mahinang sabi niya.

"Ako na bibili ng food," I offered. She opened her eyes when I spoked and looked at me before giving me a small smile.

"Kaya ko naman," she said and was about to stand up pero pinigilan ko siya.

"Ako na!" pilit ko. "I know you're stressed out. Dami ng binigay sa 'yo na trabaho, eh," I stated. She sighed.

It was true. Parang may galit 'yong boss namin sa kanya. I thought my paper work was a lot, really.
Pero pag nakita mo 'yong kay Sierra, 'di mo alam kung saan ka magsisimula.

Minsan nga nagpapasalamat ako na hindi ako 'yong napagtripan ng boss namin. I think it's unfair, though, kasi wala namang ginawang mali si Sierra.

"Save your energy. Dami mo pang tambak na trabaho sa taas," sabi ko at tumawa.

She rolled her eyes at me playfully and leaned back on the chair. "Fine. Buy me anything nalang, please," she said and closed her eyes again.

I nodded at her. I laughed a bit when I realized that she can't see me kasi nakapikit na siya. I shook my head and went to the counter.

I checked my phone while waiting for my turn to order. There were a lot of messages but I didn't mind the others. I opened Echo's chat first.

jl_henares: Hey babe!

jl_henares: I'm here at the office already.

jl_henares: I might be busy today. Take care, I love you! :)

That was his chat kaninang umaga. I scrolled down and saw that he sent another message just a few minutes ago.

jl_henares: Babe, it's lunch time already.

jl_henares: Don't forget to eat, ok?

jl_henares: Now I'm really gonna be busy. I have a meeting in a while. I'll pick you up later.

jl_henares: Don't miss me too much ;)

I didn't realize that I had a smile on my lips while reading his chat. 'Di ko napigilan ang tawa ko sa huli niyang message sa 'kin. This guy! Ang yabang talaga!

ventosari: hey babe!

ventosari: i'm here now in the cafe. gonna eat my lunch na. don't forget to eat before attending your meeting!

ventosari: i love you. wait for you later.

"Love you rin." Sa gulat ko nang may nagsalita sa tabi ko, nabitawan ko ang phone ko pero buti naman at nasalo ko ito agad. Tinawanan naman ako nitong katabi ko kaya napairap ako.

I kept my phone in the pocket of my slacks before turning to where the voice came from. "Walang hiya ka, Sirene," nakasimangot na sambit ko.

"Aba aba!" Pinanlakihan niya ako ng mata at tinampal sa braso. Umirap ako ulit and took a step forward noong gumalaw na iyong linya.

"Reading other people's chat is rude, you know," I stated and looked at her.

She raised a brow at me and crossed her arms. "Really? You want to dig into that topic?" malisyoso niyang tanong.
