*Avi's POV* (Surprise bbs)

I see Mitch kind of flipping out in the corner with Scott.

Well, as much flipping out as you can do without speaking.

That was mean Avi stop.

Anyway, I just hope that the interviewer doesn't say anything bad or bombard Mitch with questions about his disability.

Him and Scott have also been asked numerous times about being the only gay members in the band, and last time I checked that has nothing to do with singing.

We get called into the interview room and I see that Mitch has a worrisome look on his face.

I walk over to him. "Don't stress. You'll be fine. We're all here for you.if they say something that makes you uncomfortable just tell me."

Thanks Avi.

We all take our usual places and the interviewer walks in.

"My name is Leah and I am joined here with the amazingly talented Pentatonix!"

We all say hello and I say "Thanks, baby." in a really deep voice.

We laugh.

"Well, first off, thanks for being here. Would you like to introduce yourselves to us and tell us what part you sing?"

"I'm Avi, I'm the bass, obviously."

"I'm Kevin. I'm the beat boxer."

"I'm Kirstie. I'm the girl." We all laugh at that. "I obviously sing soprano."

"I'm Scott, I'm the baritone and this is Mitch, he's the tenor." Mitch waves.

"Great, great. Now that we know all of you, we're gonna play a game."

"We like games." Says Kevin.

"Okay, so for this game you need to split up into two teams."

The trio ends up on one side and Kevin and I are with the interviewer. Mitch looks worried. I give him a thumbs up.

*Scott's POV*

I lean over to Mitch. "Maybe she won't say anything about the accident."

Mitch shrugs and gets handed a whiteboard and markers.

"So, this game is called The Beyoncé Challenge. I'm gonna hold up two pictures and you have to guess which song they represent. They get harder as they go along. Ready?"

She holds up a picture of the color blue and ivy.

Mitch quickly writes down Blue Ivy and holds it up.

"One point for Team One!"

"They have Scott it's not fair!" Avi says.

"It's not my fault I'm awesome." He says.

"Okay, round two. Ready? Go!" A picture of various makeup and a needle is shown.

I ask Mitch. "Do you know?"

He seems to think for a second and then, hiding his hands behind me, signs Pretty Hurts.

"Duh." I say to myself.

"Ready? Go!"

Both teams show that their boards have the correct answer.

We go through a few more songs and then start answering questions.

"Great job, guys. It looks like Team One is the winner!"

We do the usual making fun of the other team and then start answering Twitter questions.

(*cough* me) @harry___stahp: what are your favorite colors?

"Red."

"Blue."

"Green."

"Blue."

"Yellow."

@derrrrrrence: easiest song to sing?

"Um...I think Telephone might be the easiest just because we've known it for so long, but Run To You is pretty easy, too." Answers Kevin.

@queenmitch45: how has Mitch been holding up since the accident?

I translate what he says. I think we were all affected by my injury, and we thought I wasn't going to be able to sing again. We were wrong. I can sing just like before, I hope. Overall, I'm still the same person.

I was so proud of him.

He overcame his fear of talking about it for the first time.

We wrap up the interview after a few more minutes and I give Mitch a hug. "You did great. I knew you could do it."

Thank you. Really.

"We're freaking married." I say and Mitch laughs.

True.

"Get a room." Says Kirstie and we get on the bus.

As soon as we get on, Mitch gets a FaceTime from his mom. I go with him to translate what he's saying, as his parents have not yet learned sign language.

We sit in the back room alone. My jaw dropped when I heard the news...
