The next morning, I had planned to have a lie in as a sort of reward for all the shit we had been through these last few days. Obviously, I couldn't do that. At around nine I got a call from Bae asking me to meet him at Granny's B&B at half nine. So I got ready quickly and tried to get down to Granny's on time.

I managed to get to Granny's with a whole three minutes to spare. Well done me! Bae was sat in the lobby by himself, again, so I went over to sit with him.

"Good morning," I smiled.

"Morning, Amie," He replied.

I noticed he'd got some toast on a plate so I took a piece and started to eat it.

"Hungry?" He asked, smiling at me.

"Starving," I responded.

The door to the entrance opened to reveal Emma and Henry. They came over and joined us at the lobby.

"Hey, buddy. How are you?" Bae asked.

"I'm good. I brought this," Henry said, handing his storybook to Bae. "Amie's told me some of her story but you could tell me what it was really like for you over there."

"Sounds great. I tell you what, why don't you run into the diner, get us three hot cocoas and we'll dive in," Bae replied, giving Bae some money for the food and drinks.

Henry then got up and left.

"I'm gonna have to take a rain check on that. I need to get down to the station to take care of some things," Emma told us.

"Can it wait? There's a couple of things I wanna talk to you about. Tamara went to my place to get some of her stuff," Bae started to explain, as Emma sat back down next to us.

"Okay..." Emma trailed off.

"Well, her bags were in the storage room, but Hook wasn't," Bae said.

"Lucky for her," I muttered.

"Yeah, but now he's out there," Bae reminded us.

"I'm not sure how much more trouble he can cause anyway," I said, and Emma nodded in agreement.

"The second... thing I wanna talk to you about is the reason Tamara was getting her stuff is that she's on her way here," Bae told us sheepishly.

"Here?" I asked.

"As in Storybrooke?" Emma added.

"Yeah, she should be here at Granny's any minute now," Bae said, going over to the window to look out of it.

"What are you thinking?" Emma asked him, as we followed him over to the window.

"What do you mean?" Bae muttered.

"She means, what are you gonna tell her when she sees a giant or a werewolf run past her on main street?" I asked.

"Between Greg Mendell, our food-obsessed tourist, and now your fiancée, this town is turning into a theme park," Emma added.

"Maybe I didn't think it all the way through. I'm sorry. I just--I need her," Bae apologised, but abruptly stopped at the end when he remembered that it was Emma he was talking to. I sent a glance over at Emma and saw her giving him a sad smile. "I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean it to--"

"Don't need to apologise to me. I'm not the one you're lying to," Emma assured him, as I awkwardly started pacing around.

"Who's lying?" Bae asked.

"Does she know who you really are and where you're really from?" I countered. Bae looked down at his feet.

"Take my advice. Don't let her find out on her own. Tell her the truth. Tell her everything," Emma added.
