Daniel, Johann, and the three JSDF soldiers enter the interior of the facility. He calls Mimori on the radio.
Daniel: It's me. We're inside the first floor of the Project Origin Research Facility.
Mimori (radio): Good. Find the keycard, unlock the underground route, then transfer the power line to a different grid so the elevator leading to the vault can be powered up. Hmm?...
"Incoming Signal... Unknown Origin"
Daniel: It's here, too?
Mimori (radio): Be careful and stay on guard, the paranormal activity in this area is somewhat intense.
?: You shouldn't be here. He'll get you, too. Just like what he did to mom and dad..
Daniel: ?!... She's still speaking on my mind? Who is "he" that she's referring to?
Mimori (radio): What's going on? Who's that voice speaking to you?
Daniel: I don't know... But I possibly think it might be the voice of those victims that died. Some kind of ability that allows to talk to "them" is inside me.
Mimori (radio): "Ability"?..
Daniel: .... Are they trying to warn me?
Daniel and the rest proceed to find the keycard. Eliminating some enemies, they have found it in the research administrative office.
Daniel: Found it. Now then, the bionotic operations terminal.
"Incoming Signal... Unknown Origin"
They went to the operations terminal center. Daniel used the keycard on the biometric card scanner, unlocking the door.

Johann proceeds to hack the terminal, removing the electronic mag-locks.

Johann: Electronic mag-locks are removed.
Mimori (radio): Good. Reroute the power grid to the elevator leading to the vault. You should be able to rotate the 4 power lines.
Daniel and the rest head for the underground sector. On the way there, one of the JSDF were caught in a telekinesis from the intensified paranormal activity.
JSDF Soldier 3: Something's got me... *scream* Help!
He is dragged under the storage shutter, and killed.
*death scream*
JSDF Soldier 2: No! That thing.... Damn it, I've had him! If I just had another second and more strength, I could have saved him!
Johann: Get a grip on yourself. Sometimes it's too late to save somebody. Keep moving, stay close and on guard.
They have entered the underground sector, up ahead is a steel bridge leading to an elevator, which leads to the Vault. The four airlock doors lead to the generator room.
Daniel: We're here. Let's divert power to the vault.
Johann: Got it.
Both of them enter the rooms separately.
Daniel finds more Replica Special Assault Elite Troopers guarding the room. He eliminates them through the use of his reflex ability.
Finding the controls, Daniel switched the electrical lines to another route.
"VAULT_DOOR_STATUS: NO ACCESS - ALL THREE POWER LINE CONNECTION AND GENERATOR REQUIRED"
POWER LINE 01: CONNECTED
POWER LINE 02: CONNECTED
POWER LINE 03: CONNECTED
GENERATOR: INACTIVE
He leaves the room and goes to the power generator. He turned it on.
System A.I.: Vault Facility Generator online. Please initiate connection route.
Daniel proceeds to operate the small control panel on the catwalk.
GENERATOR: CONNECTING...

Heading back, the door to the Vault is now open.
However, the drones arrive to attack them.
Daniel: Watch out! Drones!
Johann: Cover!
Drone A.I.: Unauthorized personnel detected. Terminate.
*energy gunfire*
Johann destroyed two of the drones, while Daniel took one down. They move close to the vault door. A seemingly almost-dead scientist is still barely alive.
Scientist: He planned on releasing it after harnessing all that...power? He is insane. You're after him, aren't you? Listen to me... You've got to destroy this facility. To do that, you have to reverse the psychic energy polarity. After that, destroy the energy pylons that are encased inside the coolant reactors that are mainly connected to the facility's main core reactor. When those pylons are destroyed, it will cause the main core reactor to become unstable and self-destruct. Blow the place to hell, where it belongs..
Daniel: ....
Hesitant to stop moving, they proceed to use the elevator.
