The sounds of the helicopter rotor blades get louder as it is getting close to their location. Waking up and barely injured from the explosion, the helicopter is seen landing.

Paramedic 1 (radio): Look, there they are! Get us closer!
Kano, Koyuki, and two CCSS Combat Paramedics picked up Daniel, Johann, and the one remaining JSDF Soldier.
After boarding the helicopter, they see the mushroom cloud of the explosion and the crater.
Paramedic 1: That was somehow fatal, I don't know how you lived through that.
Paramedic 2: Just leave it out of the ordinary, I think he's been through a lot.
Daniel: What happened?
Just as Daniel sees the cloud before his eyes, he is stunned to see the destruction of the facility, posing a threat to the world, ever since the homunculi was gone.
Daniel: ...?
Johann: The facility's destroyed in a nuclear explosion, that's what happened. We haven't able to contact anyone since the explosion, but we still don't know the extent of the damage.
*static*
*loud thud*
*alarm*
Johann: What was that?
Pilot 1: I don't know, something caused our ride to be imbalanced.
As the helicopter circles around distantly from the cloud, a spirit of the middle school student is sitting next to Daniel.
Communications were restored quickly, as they informed them that it was disastrous that it also damaged the city.
Mimori (radio): Daniel, Johann, come in! Are you guys alright?
Johann: We are. A little bit banged up. What's the report on the explosion?
Mimori (radio): You won't believe this..
Johann: What is?
Mimori (radio): The nuclear explosion from that facility... It was a disaster. We've been receiving reports of major casualties, hospitals overloaded, destroyed emergency lines. The damage was catastrophic and cataclysmic.
Johann: It can't be... Those bastards.. This means war.
The helicopter flies away, back to the headquarters.
