I wake up next morning, last night's events clouding my head immediately, with what happened last night playing in my head over and over again. Also what almost happened! After dropping Kiera to her house with her barely getting a word out unless it was about work, I came home trying to think of a way to get things back to normal. Luke answering her door when I went to her place at 9 in the morning saying that she already left for college , even though I knew she didn't have a class until 10 was the last straw. So, I did what I didn't want to do.

"Are you kidding me?" Seth says angrily standing over me, 30 minutes later as I just finish him telling what happened last night. "What?" "I missed my ethics lecture for this. This was the emergency," "I did say 'Kiera emergency' and she barely got a word out yesterday. Seriously, ethics is more important than this," "YES and for future reference this is not a kiera emergency. "What do you think I meant?" "I don't know. She is hurt or..." "..She left again," I say completing his thought. Seth sighes as he sits beside me. "Well, yes. You kind of scared me," "Probably not as much scared as I am right now," "You gotta chill man, especially since nothing happen...wait a second. Are you scared that something didn't happen or that something almost did?" "Honestly, I don't know. Right now, I am just scared that she is pulling away man," "You guys are exhausting. Look before something happened between Sharon and me, we had tons of these almost moments. If anything now you know that she is in a better place in this friendship than you thought," "So, I just overlook it, I mean, just pretend that nothing happened?" "Yes just be normal, don't pull of a Liam." "What do you mean, 'don't pull of a Liam'? "Well, you know how when you 'pull of a Liam'? Okay, so do you remember in high school when Kiera got mad at you and you literally stopped that drama club's biggest event of the year just to perform a one-man apology show for her in front of the entire school and—" "That happened one time!" "Oh, so in sophomore when.." "...Fine, I got the point. No pulling of a Liam," "Good!
