Ever since last week, Liam has been getting more and more clingy, always around you. He hasn't asked about Dream at all anymore, and every time you bring something up that barely connects to them, he immediately shuts it down, jumping to another topic. You've learned not to even talk about your own channel, afraid he'll react negatively.

He's currently lying across your bed, scrolling through his phone as you read a book, spinning in your chair. The silence that surrounds you guys is comfortable, a rare sense of peace floating between you two. He groans, pulling himself out of your bed and stretches before leaning over you to pat your head.

"Let's get coffee," he suggests, grabbing your book out of your hands, careful not to lose the page. Your eyes widen as he fiddles with the paper, bending it over as a bookmark.

"You did not just fold my page," you say, ripping your book out of his hands, trying to get rid of the crease he left. He chuckles, teasing you as he calls you a nerd. You glare at him, but allow him to pull you out the door. He chatters on about class as you listen intently, leaning into his warmth as he puts his arm around your waist. He gives you a fond smile, but you don't notice, for your focused on your phone. He frowns, tilting his head to get a better look at what is distracting you. Liam's brow furrows, even more, scoffing as he registers the text messages between you and George.

Flinching at his reaction, you quickly pushed your phone into your jean pocket and skip ahead, forcing a wide smile onto your face as you grab his hand, pulling him towards the coffee shop. Looking back, you sigh in relief when you see Liam grinning, bent over awkwardly as he lets you pull him forward. You slow down as you reach the coffee shop, and Liam strides ahead to hold open the door for you. Grinning, you walk into the shop and inhale the strong scent of coffee.

It envelopes the air, complemented with the busy chattering of other college students getting their afternoon coffee. Pointing to a table for two, you send Liam off to save your seats at you walk up to order. Layla, the barista, grins as she sees you walking into line. When you get to the front of the line, Layla happily takes your order and sends you off to Liam while you wait. You gently slide into the booth across from Liam and chatter about class. As Layla calls your name, Liam pushes himself out of the booth and grunts when he walks into a chair, stumbling towards Layla. You giggle, shaking your head at him. After glancing towards Liam to make sure he is preoccupied with the drinks, you slide your phone out of your pocket and scramble to open your phone.

The group chat with George, Dream, and Sapnap is packed with unread messages. You scroll to the top, glancing at Liam occasionally to make sure he isn't coming back. Stifling a laugh as you watch him spill about 4 sugar packets, you scan over the messages to see what you've missed.

Sapnap: okay so group facetime? i wanna see her reaction
