It had been another day & y/n still hadn't shown up for school. After what happen on Saturday I was worried. We stopped by at her house yesterday, but she wasn't there, her dad said she was staying at a friends house but what friend?? I was at lunch with the guys trying to figure who y/n is staying with.
Alvaro: it's not like she has any other friends, not to be rude but she really only hangs out with us
Roshaun: hey what about those people y'all met at the beach that one time?? What are their names again??
Me: oh, you're talking about destiny, Carlos, & Diego. Idk, maybe she is staying with one of them, I'd have to look into that
Mattia: what if that's just a cover up? Saying that she's staying at a friends, when really she's staying with Julian
Me: okay, but why would she be staying with him? Yeah that's her boyfriend, but why lie by saying you're at a friends?
Just as I finished asking a question Leslie came up to our table. Tf does she want??
Alvaro: ew
Roshaun: go away
Leslie: I came to talk to you guys
Mattia: well we were having an important conversation, so can you leave?
Leslie: this is imp-
Me: look I'm sure you only came here to get back with Mattia, but trust me it won't happen
Leslie: no. That's not it at all

We automatically looked up at her, she caught our attention.
Me: what about her?
She got closer & sat in the empty spot next to me
Leslie: she's staying at my house
Robert: why?
Mattia: did you do something to her?
Leslie: what? No!
Kairi: then why the hell would she be staying at your place?
Leslie: she might get mad at me for telling you guys, but I mean y'all are close
Me: tell us what?
Leslie: I went into McAlisters Saturday afternoon. I saw y/n there with Julian & when I happen to look over I saw him grab her by the wrist, he was hurting her & you could clearly tell-
Kairi: wait, you said in the afternoon?
Leslie: yeah, why?
Kairi: no nothing. Continue
Leslie: shortly after she went to the bathroom & I followed her to make sure she was okay. I asked her if Julian hits her & ...
Ale: she said yes
Kairi: thats why she flinched
Leslie: I felt extremely bad & I wanted to help her, so I convinced her to come & stay with me since he knows where she lives
Me: do you think we can stop by at your house later?
Leslie: yeah, lemme give you my address
She got out a pen & a piece of paper & wrote down her address
Alvaro: is it okay if we go right after school?
Leslie: that's fine, but there's something else you guys need to know
Roshaun: which is?
Leslie: after I took her to my house she began telling me what has happen between her & Julian. She said Ended up telling me that he told her she couldn't hangout with Mattia & if she did then he'd hurt her
Mattia: that's why she wanted to leave when I showed up on Saturday
Me: she was scared
Leslie: wait, one more thing. This is big & like really sensitive towards y/n
Robert: more? You're telling me our y/n is going through way more shit?
Kairi: I really wish we could of been there for her when this all started. We were clueless
Me: what was it that you were saying?
Leslie: she um- she was... raped
My heart broke when I heard that. Knowing my best friend had to suffer & go through all this.
Alvaro: stoppp
Roshaun: nooo
Kairi: w-what do you mean?
Mattia: not our y/n
Robert: stop lying
Meya: our poor baby had to go through all that? Stoppp
Ale: please tell me you're kidding
Leslie: I'm being so serious
Roshaun: do yk when this happen?
Leslie: Saturday. Before I saw her at the restaurant
The bell ranged signaling lunch was over & to go to our next class. Leslie got up & was about to head out
Leslie: oh btw, Mattia, she still cares about you. She's scared that she lost you & that you don't feel the same. She still wears the necklace you got her, she says it makes her feel closer to you
With that being said Leslie walked away & the rest of us were still sitting at the table. I looked over at Mattia & he had a tear coming out of his eye
Mattia: I- I said I was always gonna be there for her & I failed. She was going through so much. Why couldn't I take care of her?
Kairi: I should've went with her that day. If I did then nun of this would've happen in the first place, this is all my fault
Me: hey, no. It's not your fault, nobody's to blame for this
Roshaun: how the hell did we not see this?
Alvaro: I feel horrible
Robert: we were clueless, we didn't know this shit was happening to her
Ale: we shouldn't have let her leave Saturday
Mattia: how can someone do this? Y/n is the sweetest person I've ever met & she had to go through this? I can't believe it
The tardy bell ranged
Alvaro: & we're late
Ale: fuck it, let's skip. I can't go back to class
We ended up going to the football field & just sat in the bleachers in silence. Us skipping one class soon turned into the rest of our classes
