Arriving at World Cup

Remi's POV

I got up first and woke the girls. We dressed and woke the boys before we went down for breakfast. After breakfast we followed Mr Weasley into the hills. We meet Cedric Diggory and his father at the top of one. Then took a port key to the world cup site.

We were meet by a man named Basil. He told us which field we were in and who to talk too. We arrived at the first field to be greeted by a Mr Roberts. Who was a muggle. A ministry official came to wipe his memory. Mr Roberts gave us our change and a map of the camp site. The ministry official followed us to talk to Mr Weasley.

"Been having a lot of trouble with him. Needs a Memory Charm ten times a day to keep him happy. And Ludo Bagman's not helping. Trotting around talking about Bludgers and Quaffles at the top of his voice. Not a worry about anti-Muggle security Blimey, I'll be glad when this is over. See you later, Arthur" he says and disappears.

We find our camp site and set the tent up. We go inside and I'm amazed at it's size. Us girls clam our room. Then we leave to go get water. While Mr Weasley stayed to light a fire with Fred and George. On the way to the water. We went through the Ireland supports area. We meet some school mates. Then on the way back we saw man in a frilly night gown arguing with another man about wearing pants. Apparently he liked the breeze around his privates.

We came back to him playing with matches. So Hermione took them and lit the fire. Though it was at least another hour before it was hot enough to cook anything. There was plenty to watch while they waited, however. Their tent seemed to be pitched right alongside a kind of thoroughfare to the field, and Ministry members kept hurrying up and down it, greeting Mr. Weasley cordially as they passed. Mr. Weasley kept up a running commentary.

"That was Cuthbert Mockridge, Head of the Goblin Liaison Office....Here comes Gilbert Wimple; he's with the Committee on Experimental Charms; he's had those horns for a while now...Hello, Arnie...Arnold Peasegood, he's an Obliviator - member of the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad, you know...and that's Bode and Croaker...they're Unspeakables" he explains.

"They're what?" Harry asks.

"From the Department of Mysteries, top secret, no idea what they get up to" Mr Weasley explains. At last, the fire was ready, and we had just started cooking eggs and sausages. When Bill, Charlie, and Percy came strolling out of the woods toward us. They join us and soon we start to eat.

About half way through a man named Ludo Bagman joined us. "This is my son Percy. He's just started at the Ministry - and this is Fred - no, George, sorry - that's Fred - Bill, Charlie, Ron - my daughter, Ginny and Ron's friends, Hermione Granger, Remi Lupin and Harry Potter" Mr Weasley says introducing us to Ludo. "Everyone this is Ludo Bagman, you know who he is, it's thanks to him we've got such good tickets" he adds.

Bagman beamed and waved his hand as if to say it had been nothing. "Lovely to meet you at last Miss Lupin" he says bowing his head to me.

"Please no need to be so formal" I tell him. He smiles and asks Mr Weasley if he wanted to make a bet on the match. He declined, but the twins made a bet. That Ireland will win, but Krum will catch the snitch.  He then decides to stay for tea. We're soon joined by Percy's boss Barty Crouch. Who calls him Weatherby.

They all start to talk about flying carpets and portkeys. They then talk about a secret event happening at Hogwarts this year.  But Mr Crouch wouldn't let Ludo tell us what it is. They finish their tea and go talk to the Bulgarians. "What's happening at Hogwarts dad?" Fred asks.

"Do you know what they were talking about Remi?" George asks me.

"No, I may have a high blood status. But I am only starting my third year" I remind him.

"Don't worry, you will all find out soon enough" Mr Weasley assures us.

"It's classified information, until such time as the Ministry decides to release it. Mr. Crouch was quite right not to disclose it" Percy states. Fred tells him to shut it. Us kids go to the gift tents and purchase a few souvenirs. Harry got three pairs of Omnioculars. One each for him, Ron and Hermione. He was going to get me a pair, but I refused as I have my normal binoculars.

I got a Bulgarian scarf and a green rosette. I'm more of a fan of the Harpies. So I am supporting both teams today. We return to the tent with lighter money bags. "It's time!" Mr. Weasley announces excitedly. "Come on, let's go!" he says and leads the way to the pitch.
