"girl's day!" madison yelled as elaine filmed her for snapchat. she moved the camera to show madelyn, lemon, and lilah singing a thousand miles in the back of lemon's new jeep on the way to the beach. the girls decided to have a nice beach day without any boys, as they were unable to have one for the past few months due to their relationships and the boys being hella clingy.
the girls laid their towels out and took off their shorts to reveal their bikinis. "finally a day without drew attached to your hip" madelyn sighed as she laid back to soak in the sun
"says you!" lemon laughed "you and chase are practically conjoined"
"you guys are both bad" elaine added
"don't even" lemon and madelyn said at the same time as they both sat up to glare at elaine who spends all her time with rudy.
"okay guys we all get it! you guys are all in a relationship" lilah rolled her eyes sitting on her towel
"aww lils, what happened to that arthur guy you were talking about?" lemon asked
"he was talking to three other girls" lilah frowned
"and that is why i don't miss high school" madison smiled "it gets better promise"

the girls were enjoying their day at the beach. the spent the day in the waves and playing paddleball or eating some of the snacks they brought. they were currently laying out and tanning while listening to lemon's beach playlist, when they were kicked with sand.
"what the fuck" lemon exclaimed as she sat up to see who it was as the other girls said there own cuss words and sat up with her. they looked up to see the boys staring back at them smiling.
"how did you guys know where we are?" lilah asked completely confused. the girls all looked at madelyn with their eyebrows raised
"sorry okay?! chase asked where i was and i wasn't going to lie to him!" madelyn defended herself "plus lemon posted an instagram photo in a bikini, which is probably why drew wanted to come"
"got that right" drew nodded as he put his arm around lemon who looked at him funny "what?! i'm being truthful" he defended. the group played spickeball for awhile and then sat down to have a fire. they were all having their own conversations.
"i'm glad i can do this with you" lemon smiled after admiring drew's fire-lit features for awhile.
"yeah i like fires"
"no i mean sit here in silence without needing to talk and we still enjoy our time"
"i'm only silent because i'm admiring you the whole time" drew turned to smile at her. he leaned in closer and she pushed his face away "ew why are you being all lovey-dovey" she laughed
"because you hate it" he tapped her nose.
