Chapter 1: "Gaang gathering"

Sokka's Pov:

~It's been three years since the war ended. Aang, Zuko, Mai and Katara have all been busy fixing and rebuilding the damages the fire nation caused and are slowly fixing the world and turning it into something better. They said my help would soon be needed but they have been telling me that since the day Zuko became Firelord. Suki and I broke up two years ago, it wasn't a big deal, we just figured we weren't meant for each-other and decided to take separate paths, we still see each-other since every night once every week, the gaang gets back together to catch up and hang out and well, she was part of the ending of the war, so it wouldn't be fair for either of us to stop hanging out with our friends because of our break up, we're still friends! Everything is cool between us. She often brings Ty Lee to our hang out so she can see Mai and also catch up with her.

~Now that they are busy all the time and suki and I broke up, I've had a lot of time to think... and I've started to feel alone, lost... The only thing I help them with is taking and bringing over Katara to all their meetings after that I have the whole day to do nothing until I have to come find her again at night. My little sister who was my "mom" my best and only friend for 15 years of my life is now on meetings to fix the world, is the avatar's girlfriend and an incredible bender, she barley spends time with me anymore, and I won't force her too! After all we're all grown up already. Aang who became my best friend four years ago, is now helping make the world a better place next to my sister, the Fire Lord and Fire Lady who technically isn't Fire lady yet since they aren't married but... you get it. Toph my best friend, my true loyal partner in crime, always and forever... she? She is been improving her metal bending skills so she can start training other earth benders into metal bending... even she
is doing cool stuff at the age of sixteen... I am now eighteen and I haven't done anything amazing or world changing

"Okay! We're here! I'll pick you up in three hours so you can get ready for the gathering! Is that cool with you?" I said

"Yeah sure... but um I think I'll leave with Aang and Appa afterwards..." she replied

"Oh..!" I said with and upset tone.

"Is... everything okay Sokka?" Katara asked...

"Couldn't be better..!" I said with a soft sarcastic lying tone.

"I can tell you're not okay. What's wrong?" She asked him...

"It's nothing Katara, you're going to be late" I said

"Come on sokka! What's up? I'm your sister..! You can tell me anything..." she replied

"Katara, I get that you're trying to help but I honestly don't feel comfortable talking about it with you." I answered slightly annoyed

"See! So something is up! If you don't feel comfortable talking to me right now, I won't force you! Just know that if you need to talk to someone I'll be right here..." she said

"Thank you Katara... but don't worry about me, after all I am already 18 years old, I can take care of myself now. Go off to your saving the world meetings and be cool like you've always been" I told her

Katara sighs "Sokka I'm sorry we haven't been spending that much time with you but" Sokka interrupted her

"Katara seriously I'm fine. Whatever I'm going through I'm sure I can handle it, now go change the world."

"Fine, I'll see you tonight at the gathering..." she replied upset

"Hey! Cheer up katara! It's nothing personal! It just... really hurts my ego having to admit I'm not okay. Have a nice day... I'll see you tonight" I said to try and cheer her up.
