FIVE SIGHED, and thought about completely starting over with Cass. He decided that probably wasn't then best solution, considering he was on a time sensitive mission.

And he was in love with her.

And he couldn't live without her for any longer.

And the world was ending.

"You haven't met me yet." He reiterated while walking out to the front of the cafe, and Cassiopeia's confused face turned sour.

"I heard you the first time, Five, but I don't think I understand."

The boy nodded. He was being rather vague. "Well then I should probably start from the beginning, huh?"

CASS

CASSIOPEIA TOOK a seat on the sidewalk. "So you and I-" Cass cut herself off.

"We were together in the apocalypse, yes." Five said, and rubbed the girl's back comfortingly. She flinched away at first, but then leaned into his hand.
"Wack." Jet commented, but Cass was too overwhelmed to even reply.

"And how did I die again?" Five froze for less than a second, but Cass took no notice.

"Old age," He lied smoothly. "We were stuck in the apocalypse for 45 years."

Cassiopeia looked up at Five with her honey eyes. "Did I ever tell you-" She straightened her posture and looked ahead. "Did I ever tell you how it happened?"

Five shook his head dejectedly. "You never told me, and I didn't push it, I could always tell that it hurt you." He paused. "That's why it's a good thing you're here, I need you to help me save my family." The boy's earnest green eyes searched Cass's bright brown ones for any hint of doubt, but she put all her trust in him.

Suddenly panic appeared on Cass's face. "Oh my God, your family! I never told Diego I left, he probably has the whole damn police force out looking for me!"

She watched as Five nodded. "He was looking for you when I left." The brunette smacked Five's arm and stood up.

"Hey what the Hell was that for!" She heard him yell as she hurried away. Without turning back, she answered, "That was for not telling me sooner, asshat!"

The boy rolled his eyes and teleported to her. She stumbled backwards. "If you're really that concerned, I'll spacial jump us to the Academy." She smiled brightly, and Five melted. "Well then grab on, sunshine." He held his arm out and was surprised when Cass grabbed his hand and squeezed it tightly, shutting her eyes tightly, and scrunching her nose in concentration.

Five blushed at the warmth of her small hand in his, and the pair disappeared
