Thoughts - Gideon is adopted

Think about it , he looks nothing like his parents , he's smarter than them , he has powers they can't dream of and he completely controls them !

Plus his parents seem nice , if they really raised him since he was a kid wouldn't he have turned out more like them ?
He even dresses differently and knows more about dark secrets than them . Where would he get that knowledge if he spent his entire life with them ?

So this is my conclusion , Gideon is adopted and since the day he was their son his new mom went insane cause who wouldn't? Oh yea his idiotic dad .

Here's another thing , his dad is a stupid push-over , yet Gideon is a conniving genius . So he literally got nothing at all from his parents ? That's unlikely and it makes more possible that he's adopted .
