"Guys?" Delilah called out, entering the living room.
The living room where the others usually spent their mornings was now deserted.
"Must be some kind of prank." Delilah thought. "The living room isn't usually this empty anyways."
She was wrong. During the next fifteen minutes she spent sipping coffee from a mug, not a single person had cam out of hiding.
Delilah's phone started vibrating again. It had been doing so for the last fifteen minutes, even though she had no clue why. Finally, she was started to get annoyed by the noise, and picked her phone up.
The vibrations had been of notifications from a newly made group chat.

Delilah: uh, hi? what's going on here?
Penni: oh hey it's Delilah! what's up?
Delilah: nothing much
Delilah: where are you guys?
Graham: we went out this morning
Sebastian: yea, didn't you see that note we left on the coffee table in the living room?
At this, Delilah put her phone down again. She noticed that there was a small slip of paper that she hadn't noticed before. She picked the piece of paper up and read it to herself.
We went outside since we thought that we needed some fresh air. If you're reading this, now you know why we're gone.

Delilah: who had the time to make this group chat?
Penni: I made this group chat yesterday
Penni: remember when I asked for everyone's contacts yesterday?
Delilah: oh, that's cool
Delilah: where's about everybody else?
Avery: Leon, Sydney, Travis and I are at the park
Avery: some dork just spotted a group of ducks so we probably won't be back for another hour
Avery: I wonder who that is
Amber: who is that?
Sydney: she's talking about Leon
Sydney: shoot, I meant he
Sydney: sorry Avery
Avery: thats fine
Avery: hold on lemme send a pic
Candy: what's Avery doing?
Travis: taking a picture of Leon, I think
