Chapter 11

me when hero knocked out the guy in the club last chapter 💀 ^^
Jo's perspective

I wake up to the sound of my alarm.
God my head is pounding, i shouldnt have went out last night.
I stand up and go to the bathroom, making sure to brush my teeth.

I look in the mirror at myself and jesus.
My hair is all knotty and my makeup is smudged.

I need a shower.
Its 9:00, filming starts at 2:00.

Due to yesterdays filming, we'll have to refilm it later on, after we film the new years eve scene, which is an actual set since its the whole tessa and molly fight.
The scene we failed to film yesterday and will re film later on, is actually outside at a actual house.

I need to be in hair and makeup at 12:00
I get in the shower, I turn the handle making the water warm.

I rest my head against the wall.
Im so irresponsible, i was never like this.

LATER REHEARSAL

I walk on the set giving Anna a smile.
She nods at me and Roger directs me to a spot, "Okay Jo, this is a huge fight scene with Inanna, i want you to sit on hero's lap and then say your lines, no improv this time, and then go for her hair okay?"

"Okay." i say nodding.
But hero isn't here yet.

"Just go over your lines as we wait for hero." he says walking back to talk to Anna.

I walk over to Inanna while we wait.

"Sorry in advance." i say and we both laugh.

"Its fine, im just glad the guy showed us what to do last week." she says and I nod.

A few moments later hero enters the room and everyone goes quiet, only to start talking again.
I try not to look at him but i cant help notice that his bruised lip is gone. They probably had to cover it up with makeup.

Roger tells hero what the plan is and Hero sits down in his spot.
I walk over to where hes sitting.

"I would really love to not have a repeat of yesterday." he says and we both nod, embarrassed of our actions during yesterdays shoot.

"Everyone start getting in places!" Roger yells and everyone stops talking and starts to sit down in their spots.

I sit on hero's lap and its extremely awkward but i remind myself that this is our job.
His arm wraps around my waist and his foot is tapping.

"Okay and ACTION!!" Roger yells and everyone starts chatting about random things.

"So what should we play?" Molly, aka Inanna, asks, quieting everyone.

"How about truth or dare?" i ask acting as tipsy as i can.

Hero looks at me and then away.

"Fine. You go first." she says and i nod.

"Molly, truth or day?" i ask and she rolls her eyes.

"Truth." she says and some people make noises.

"Is it true that you're a whore?" i ask and the casts laugh and some gasp.

Hero smiles at me and shakes his head.

"Thats not true." she says and i laugh.

"Beg to differ." i say and she looks annoyed as ever.

"Fine, Tessa, truth or dare?"

"Truth." i say.

"Is it true that you still went back to hardin even after he made a bet about taking your virginity?" she says and people gasp.

Roger puts a hand up meaning for me to start fighting.
I go for her hair and start pulling but not to hard.

We fight and hero, i mean hardin tries to pull me away and then throws me over his shoulder.
He walks away holding me, threw the crowd and my heart is beating fast.

"Alright, Cut!" Hero puts me down and i fix my dress.

"Good job." he says and i nod.

"Thank you."

"Lets do that again but this time..." Roger continues.

We do the scene over and over again until he's satisfied.

Afterwards Roger and Anna call me and hero into a room.

"So guys, we know today was a hard day in filming, especially for you Jo, so tomorrow night we're going to film the second part to the new years eve scene instead of tonight." Anna says and Roger nods.

"Thank you." me and hero say at the same time.

"And maybe tonight you guys can work out whatever problems you have." Roger says and i just look away.

"Well thats all, so you two can leave." he says and we leave the room, it was almost like we were called into the principle's office.

I'll definitely have some bruises from todays shoot.

We leave the room and Hero stops walking when we reach a corner and he grabs my arm.

"What are you doing?" i ask.
We're hidden where we are standing.

"Can we talk later?" he asks and i shrug looking away.

"I don't know i guess, but i really have nothing to say to you." i say and he grabs my hand.

"You know thats not true. Look I'm s-"

"Hero don't, because every time you say sorry, you go and hurt me again." i say and he shakes his head.

"I don't want to hurt you anymore Jo. Im sorry about what I said the other day, i want to explain to you what happened." he says.

"Fine, later you can come by my trailer but we're only talking." i say and he nods.

I did lie earlier because i do have a lot to say to him.
About that girl grinding on him.
About that guy he knocked out and what the fight was about.
I have so many questions.

"Thank you." he says and i nod.
I turn around walking away to my trailer.
Knowing he's probably going the same way.
He walks right next to me.
I look away, i can tell he's smiling.

"You shouldn't be smiling I'm still mad at you." i say and he laughs.

"Why don't instead of going to your trailer to talk we go for a walk or something, or ill take you to get ice cream." he says and i look at him as we make a turn.

"I don't know." i say, even though we use to always get ice cream last year when filming.

"Its not a date." he says.

"Hmm, you sure about that." i say squinting my eyes at him and he laughs.

"Unless you want it to be." he says and i shake my head.

"No, not just yet." i say and then realizing what i said.

"So that means theres a posibil-"

"Noer noer noer, I didnt realize what i sa-"

"Its okay no need to explain yourself." he says and we both laugh as we reach our trailers.
I cant help but smile when i know i shouldnt.

"I'll knock on your door in an hour and a half??" he asks smiling.

I nod, "Sounds good." i say and we walk into our separate trailers.

I close my door and lean against it.
Why did i still get butterflies?
