Stranger Things x Reader Season 3

Chapter 12

When you arrived at the pool you stood from a car park, you could see Billy through the fences but used binoculars to get a better view.

"I don't know he looks pretty normal to me." Max said looking through the binoculars.

"Normal? How many times have you seen him with a shirt on?" Lucas asked sarcastically.

"I mean it's a little weird." Max replied.

"More than a little. He was in a tub with ice, the Mind Flayer likes it cold. Plus everything these two saw." Mike argued pointing to you and El.

"But he's lounging at the pool, which is like the least Mind Flayer thing ever." Max exclaimed.

"Not necessarily." Will started. "The Mind Flayer like to hide. He only used me when he needed me. It's like, like you're dormant. And then when he needs you,  you're activated."

"Okay, So we just wait until he gets activated?" Max suggested.

"No. What if he hurts someone?" Mike asked.

"Or kills someone?" Will added.

"We can't take that chance." Mike continued. "We need to find out if he's the host." Mike started walking around the boys and past the cars.

"Where are you going?" El asked.

"I have an idea. Boys only." He said making Lucas and Will follow him.

"Seriously?" Max sighed.

"Just trust me on this one!" Mike exclaimed.

"And their going to the boys locker room." You sighed after reading his mind.

After a few minutes when the boys came back Mike gave everyone a instruction and explained his plan. He set you off first to get the keys to the boys locker room while he explained his plan to everyone else, he didn't tell you what it was but you already read his mind so you knew.

You crept into the entrance to the pool and saw the manager sat at the front desk, you read his mind and saw multiple places on where different keys were. On was in his pocket, one was in his locker and one was in that room. You sighed and thought for a second, you remembered he had perfect view of the pool. You put your head around the corner and focused on a kid in the pool, you hid your hands and tilted your head to the side. That second two kids stopped what they were doing and stood up straight, making you know they were under your control. You made the kids start screaming and cause trouble, the second the manager heard the screams he shot up and ran to the pool. You smiled to yourself and ran to the front desk. You went into the room and searched around, the you found several keys in a draw. They had multiple numbers on them and you saw a sheet of paper on a board saying which key was which, you checked the pool to see the manager and Billy pulling the kids out the pool. You made the kids fight them and jump back in the pool to give you more time. You wiped the blood from hour nose and read the paper, you saw number 8 was the one for the boys locker room, you smiled,  grabbed the key and ran out.

When you looked at the key you thought of backing it up with a lock, you knew the locks were in the shed and you started running towards it. When you got in you saw loads of small draws each labelled with a word. You searched for the word locks and as you looked Will and Lucas came in, you knew they were searching for something to hold the Sauna door shut.

"Uh. Will." Lucas said while he looked through some boxes. "Um you know, about yesterday..."

"It's fine Lucas. You don't have to say anything." Will sighed, you raised and eyebrow.

"I know but it's just.. It was a really cool campaign. And Mike and I we should've never-" Lucas started before Will interrupted him.

"I don't care anymore Lucas, I really don't." Will exclaimed.

"Wait what happened?" You asked.

"It's nothing. We have bigger things to worry about now." Will replied. He pulled a box down from a shelf and took a chain out from it. "This should hold him."

You grabbed a lock and the key for it and walked out, you took a turn next to a car and stood in front of it. You waited for Will and Lucas to walk past it then you called Will over.

"Yeah?" Will said walking over to you.

"What happened yesterday?" You asked.

"Nothing. It doesn't matter." Will sighed.

You read his mind and saw him destroying castle Byers and crying. "You destroyed castle Byers?" You asked.

Will didn't saw anything and nodded his head. "I really missed you yesterday." He mumbled.

You pulled Will in and kissed him, you felt him out his hand behind your ear. When you slowly broke apart you whispered. "I missed you too."
