It's now around 9 AM and I just woke up. Agad kong tinignan 'yung phone ko to see if nagtext na ba si Rafi. Yep, she did and she's saying that she is still lazy to get up from bed. May kinahihiligan kasing series sa netflix kaya nagpupuyat. I got up from bed and I'm kind of thinking to take a hot shower. I don't know but it's soothing for me. Ever since I've been in the corporate world, hinahanap-hanap na 'yun ng katawan ko after a busy and stressful day.
Rafi and I are going to have breakfast together and I'm craving for some french toast and bacon plus a very hot cocoa milk. I'm going to have bagels as well na idi-dip ko 'dun sa gatas. Thinking about all that makes me starving already. Pagkatapos ko dito ay susunduin ko pa si Raf sa room niya. She is sharing a room with her bestfriends by the way so later I know I'll be kind of intimidated kasi hindi pa naman kami close ng mga kaibigan niya.
I'm wearing a black shirt from Levi's and a denim shorts from Uniqlo. My slides are from Adidas and watch from Tissot. Naka-todo porma akala mo kung saan pupunta diba? Ganun talaga. You have to look good for your woman. Nag-spray lang ako ng favorite scent ko from the Wilder Men Scents collection from Mom's own brand called Luscious Scents. One year pa lang 'yung business niya na 'yun but it's a hit already. 'Yung money na kikitain pala will be donated to those beneficiaries from our foundation, mostly single moms.
Pagkatapos ko ay lumabas na ako ng room, leaving Chad who is still in a deep sleep. Timothy has been out for a while doing his usual routine.
Hindi naman kalayuan 'yung room nina Rafi. Just a few rooms away lang pero kakanan ka pa. While on my way there, I'm just checking some emails kasi I don't want to miss anything and also messages from clients and of course, the fambam.
Malapit-lapit na ako sa room nina Raf when I saw her making her way towards me.
"Good morning!" magiliw niyang bati sa akin at ang lakas maka-goodvibes ng ngiti niya
"Hey gorgeous..." bati ko at agad niya akong niyakap
"Hey handsome. How was your sleep?" tanong niya
"I slept really good, Viii. How about you? How's the new series you're watching?" tanong ko naman balik sa kanya
"It's so good. You should watch it as well. Parang Grey's Anatomy but way better pa..." sabat niya at naglalakad na kami palabas ng hotel
"I'll give it a try soon..." sabi ko sabay halik sa forehead niya
"Okayyyy. By the way, I have something for you..." tumigil siya sa paglalakad at may inabot na puting envelope sa akin
"What's this?" syempre na-curious ako
"It's a poem that I wrote for you. But do not open it yet..." sabi niya
"So paano ko mababasa 'to?"
"Open it when you feel the loneliest you could ever be..." sambit niya
At first parang na-weirduhan ako kasi bakit pa kailangan ko pang maghintay, diba? Obviously, I can't open it yet coz I'm at my happiness right now.
"Hindi pa naman ako malungkot ngayon..." sabi ko and she squeezes my arm
"Exactly. So open it when you feel like your heart is suffocating with sadness...." sabi niya at tumango na lang ako kahit hindi ko na siya nagi-gets pa
"Alright, that's a promise. Now, where are we off to, babylady?" napatingin siya sa 'kin dahil sa tinawag ko sa kanya
"Babylady?!" namula 'yung magkabila niyang pisngi
"Yep, you heard it right. Kinilig ka noh?" ngisi ko sabay hawak ng kamay niya so people could see that she's mine
She's freaking mine.
"Pero bakit babylady?"
"Kasi you're my baby and my one and only lady..." sabat ko at pasimple siyang ninakawan ng halik sa pisngi
"Yieeeee. Ang cute!" 'yung ngiti niya abot hanggang langit eh
She's so freaking cute when she's smiling. I like how her hair sways each time the wind blows it. How her lips form into a sweet smile each time I try to crack a certain joke. How every story of mine sparks an interest to her and how even in the simplest form of things, I can find myself so happy just because I have her.
For the shortest span of time that we've been together, I have already picture out a future with her. Weird but this feels right.
"I love you, babylady..." sabi ko and we're almost near to where we are heading
"I love you too, babymaster..." natawa ako sa sagot niya
"Why babymaster?"
"Kasi you're my baby and at the same time the master of your own company. Dibaaaa? Witty ko noh?" natawa na lang ako
"Yeah right and that's cute. Parang ikaw...." sabi ko sabay kindat sa kanya
Parang mabubuang na ako maya-maya ah. HAHAHAHA. Cupid wants me to be crazy.
