Chapter three...new member

Maris pov

I headed inside my new room in the jokers hideout and sigh in awe. The room was huge, had a queen size bed with purple and blue sheets and comforter set. The pillows were large and fluffy just how i liked it. I looked around the wall and saw a desk and a computer with alot of notebooks and pens and pencils as well. I heard a knock at my door and saw harley come inside. She sat the door behind her and went and sat on my bed.

¨how long do you plan on staying mari?¨ harley said with a striaght face but soon put a soft smile on her pale face.
How long did i plan staying? Where else could i go where luka couldnt find me?

¨uh, im not sure, i have no where else to go¨ i then furrowed my eyebrows together ¨where are we anyway?¨
harley looked at me with a frown. ¨we are no where near pa anymore mari, we are in gotham...¨
ah shit i thought to myself.

¨luka has no chance of getting you anymore mari, but ur not near your parents at all either mari¨
I frowned. I wanted to be with my parents. What about elena and alya.
¨elena... alya?¨
¨mari they are both here, they go to school here in gotham, u didnt know?¨
¨i knew they didnt live in pa with me but i didnt know they actually lived here¨
harley smiled, ¨yes we all go to school here, 8 hours and sometimes depending on what we all wanna do¨
I smiled, at least i was with all my bestfriends.
¨Can i go to gotham highschool?¨
harley smiled, her pear white teeth showing widely, ¨aw mari that was the whole plan, you start next week but you have a code name, we all do, we cant
have your real name in in the system and luka tracks you, alot of things are going to change marinette¨

I smiled.  ¨can we have a girls night? you, me, elena and alya?¨
¨yes mari, but it has to be at elenas or alyas.. and we have to do it tonight anyway, joker has a meeting tonight, we are recurting a new member to jokers watching guards, more like will be jokers left hand man, his right hand is frosty¨
i nodded. ¨who?¨
¨not sure, joker hasnt talked to me yet¨
¨does joker go to school to?¨

joker came inside the room at the exact time too. ¨no doll, i graduate two years ago¨
Harley stood up and went to jokers side and he put his arms around her waist and put his nose into her hair.

¨mari, ur new name will be ladybug,  for now on it will be ladybug, i already set you up into the gotham school and ur set for next week¨ the joker said with a striaght face and a voice that could make any girl squirm at there feet, even though this is how he talks i now know how harley falls at his feet.
I nodded and looked at harley who was smiling at me. ¨puddin, me and mari are going to elenas tonight, we have lots to discuss¨
¨of course baby, ill have frosty pull out a random honda to make it draw no attention to you¨ the joker said with a smile while looking at her.

Harley leaned up with a soft smile and pressed her lips to the joker, the joker smiled in between his kisses with harley and harley pulled away and pushed his nose. ¨later puddin¨ the joker grinned and walked out the room. Harley looked at me blushing a deep red, even with so much pale skin u can tell
when she blushed, and she only blushed near the joker. The joker would murder anyone with eyes out for harley.

¨pack up a tiny bag, tonight we will be going shopping and getting makeup overs so we dont get recogozie in the city.¨ harley said while walking out the door and shutting it behind her quietly.

I smiled, this was gonna be my home for the next year and a half. Imma be in highschool with my bestfriends and ill be toxic free and no more bruises, no more yelling and screaming baxk and forth, its time for me to move on. I smiled and packed my tiny bag for tonight excited to finally be around all my bestfriends for the first time in 3 years.

Lukas pov.

I was tired, ready to come home to my favorite meal once again. I was planning on taking mari out tommorrow so i could propose to my demon of a girlfriend who i loved alot. latley ive been abusive, but who cares, i know she wont leave me cause i know she will regret it and she knows what i would do. I walked inside the door and smelled no dinner being cooked or any recent type of presence not in the apartment.
¨mari!¨ i yelled
I walked into the kitchen and saw everything exactly as it was when i left this morning. Maybe she went to the store i thought to myself. I pulled out my phone and went to her contact and texted her. ´mari, where are you?´ the message sent but didnt deliever.
i furrowed my eye brows in confusion. I walked to our room and saw the bed untouched. I looked inside the closet and saw only my clothes there. I grew angry, i ran over to the dresser and saw every piece of clothing gone.
I ran to the storage closet and saw both of the suit cases gone. I punched to storage closet door with so much force and anger that was rising inside of me. I walked over to the kitchen table and saw a note and the key to the apartment and the bracelet i gave her.

luka, heres my key to the apartment, i wont be needing it anymore, take care asshole - mari.

I grumbled up the paper and threw the key across the room. I fell to my knees and started punching the ground. I took my phone out of my pocket and ringed ´???´.

¨mari left me, come over will you¨
¨of course luka, i will be there soon¨
I was angry, beyond beyond angry, i stood up and threw my phone to the wall and it cracked indefitnely.
´aww mari, u will regret this´

Hey guys!! i hope u guys are liking the story so far, it is a little out of place and strange right? like i went to fast, but dont worry im learning as i go!! i will post another one tonight and maybe two or one tmrw, leave a vote and comments plz!!
