The Argument

After guy said this kakashi went still not a single word was said for a few minutes.

"It's what's best." Said kakashi as he went to exist the room.

Before kakashi could open the door a hand was placed on it, directly besides his head.

"I'm fine kakashi. There is no need to worry. I will always be by your side, even as a rival." Guy said in a whisper beside kakashi's ear.

Guy lifted his hand from the door. Him and kakashi just stood there silent. The silence was soon broken by guy.

"Now you can stay and have faith in me to be by your side as a lover, or you can walk out that door were I will stand by you as a rival, and a comrade. It has been and always will be your choice kakashi." Said guy as he waited for kakashi's next move.

"Yeah, well what if it isn't my choice?" Kakashi whispers.

"What?" Asked guy.

"WHAT IF IT ISN'T MY CHOICE GUY!" Kakashi yelled as he turned around.

"WHAT IF I HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN PEOPLE DIEING OR BEING ALONE. HOW CAN ANYONE MAKE YHAT KIND OF SELFISH CHOICE." Kakashi yelled again.

"Because none of there deaths were your fault." Said guy.

"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT? ALMOST EVERYONE I'VE EVER BEEN AROUND HAS EITHER DIED OR HAS BEEN SEVERELY INJURED! EVERYONE GUY. Even you." Kakashi whispers the last part as he cryed.

"Because that is what we do. We are shinobi kakashi we live and DIE for our village to be safe. What would have happened to lee, tenten, and neji if I hadn't stepped in? They would be dead, but instead I did step in and I'm only slightly injured. I'm already walking around kakashi, I'm fine." Guy said as he approached kakashi.

"But what if yo-"

"NO kakashi. We're done talking about this right now. I'm going to get discharged here shortly then we can go to your place and sit and talk this out in private." Said guy.

Kakashi only nodded his head as guy left his room to go see tsunada. Kakashi sat down on the bed and looked out the window.

I guess this whole soul marking think was right. Guy is the only one that can convince me it's not my fault. It will take some time, but I'm ready. I'm ready to be happy again.

Kakashi sighed as guy entered the room again.

"I have my discharge papers. We can leave and talk about all of this now." Guy said in a gentle tone.

"Yeah, ok." Said kakashi as he followed guy out of the hospital.
