A month passed.

"Oh My God!! Are you serious?" I ask excitedly.

"Yes, baby. But this is your Christmas present in advance, and your birthday present, and all the presents to come," my dad answers with a big smile.

"I love it. Thank you, thank you, thank you," I thank him, hugging and kissing him. "Can I try it now?"

"Of course! Go have fun, but be careful."

"Thank you," I thank him again, and give him another kiss before getting in my brand new car.

I honk loudly when I pull over in front of Jake's house.

Jake comes out rambling about me being loud but stops when he sees the car my dad got me. "No way!! Your father bought you a Camaro?"

"Yes," I answer, grinning from ear to ear. "Get in!"

Jake gets in and we go for a ride. He can't stop talking about the car and how much he likes it; I think he's even more excited than I am. We decide to go get Sarah and Luke too.

"This is a sweet ride," Sarah comments from the back seat.

"You have to let me drive it," Jake tells me.

"Now I won't have an excuse to give you a ride," Luke admits, and we all laugh.

"You can take me whenever you like. I wouldn't mind riding in your Porsche," Jake jokes.

"I'm sure you wouldn't, but you ride with me now babe," Sarah tells him and kisses him.

"Get a room," I tell them jokingly. They have been dating for three weeks now, and they're super cute together. I'm really happy for them.

"We will," Jake says smirkingly.

"Man, that's something I definitely don't want to hear," Luke complains with a disgusted expression on his face. "You're talking about my sister."

"Sorry," Jake apologizes poorly.

After we're done driving around, I leave Luke and Sarah at their house. Jake stays with me because he's gonna spend the night at my house. During this past month, I was busy with volleyball, soccer, and bowling games. I came third place in the bowling tournament, and the volleyball team passed to the finals. There are 5 soccer games left, but I don't think we will make it to the finals; the team sucks. It's starting to get cold, so I think they are gonna have to move those games for next season. I have crossed path with Sam a few times, but he just ignores me, so I started doing the same. At least, he isn't making my life a living hell anymore. Lola hasn't bothered me either. I only see her in the games, and I have to admit that she's not as bad as I thought she was going to be; she's actually pretty good and has been a great asset to the team. A few of her friends tried to bother me, but Jake scared them off.

"Jake, play with me," Lisa pleads Jake.

"I just literally played with you a few minutes ago," Jake tells her.

"But I want to play again," Lisa insists. I let Jake deal with it because I have to every day. Once in a while, it's good that she finds someone else to play with. I'm sitting on the sofa watching television when I get a text from Luke. I smile. I've been hanging out with him and Sarah a lot.

"You like him, don't you?" Jake asks, catching me off guard.

"What? No," I deny.

"Oh please! I know you," Jake says.
