Missing a spark - Shinkami

(Dance AU) 

(In this story Denki is gonna be the taller one since I feel like it so just swap their heights or something)

(Denkis POV)

Last night I set my alarm early to help me get ready but it makes me tired as hell. Anyhow I pull my legs out of bed landing on the cold freaking floor, We have a comp today so supposedly we are teaming up with another team. I pick out a black tank top, Black and yellow camo pants with a few chains, "Looking good Kami" I say pulling finger guns in the mirror at myself, I strut out of my apartment heading for the studio.

I pull up in front of the pure ivory building, I push the door open and head inside, I can already see Mina and Midoriya warming up and Kirishima grabbing some water, "Ey Kami!"I hear him shout, "Wassup Kiri, Do you know any info on the team we are working with? Mic and Aizawa have been pretty quiet" (Shush they now know how to dance ) "Nah bro sorry, All I know that it is Bakugous team" Great. Just great, lemme guess he is the same as in high school and is the main dancer, "Cool" I say through gritted teeth.

"Ok kids go sit down and wait, They will be here any second." Says the most tired out of our two coaches. Suddenly the door opens and income some cool as hell looking people, lemme give y'all a run down, First off Katsuki Bakugo, A old student and "Friend" of mine, him and Kiri are still pretty close but he is in a black leather jacket, a tank top with an explosion on it and some black sweats, Next up Kyoka Jiro, Me and her would flirt and throw people off but she was always a lesbian in her heart, She had a cropped fishnet shirt with black shorts which she looked stunning in (Platonic sorry KamiJiro shippers) and Shoto Todoroki, Old classmate with multi-coloured hair who hated his dad wearing a blue and white tie-dye shirt with blue shorts. 

My eyes catch onto a male who seemed to be listening to music behind Jirou as if he his hiding, To be honest he is quite attractive I mean he has indigo hair and is wearing a purple cropped shirt with a music note and black biker shorts "Now may you all introduce your part in your team and names"

(3rd person POV)

Denki volunteers to go first like the social extrovert he is, "Hi there, I'm Denki Kaminari and I am one of the lead dancers in our team" "Ay, I am Ejiro Kirishima and I am a background dancer" "I'm Mina Ashido and I'm another lead dancer!" Mina always talks with a lot of excitement but today she seem extra excited, "Hey, I'm Izuku Midoriya and I am a background dancer" "I am Katsuki Bakugo, the second lead dancer" He sounded extremely annoyed "Hello, I'm Kyoka Jiro and I'm the background dancer along with finding/making most of our songs" She said proudly "I'm Shoto Todoroki, I background dance..." He says in a normal monotone voice, "Uhm, Hi I'm Hitoshi Shinso, I am the lead dancer I guess" Denki was sort of happy that Bakugo wasn't the MAIN lead

(Shinsos POV)

At the moment I have taken a liking to the blonde with a lighting bolt, Will I admit it? No but still, Anyways I hope I will not fall flat on my face when dancing but oh well, I walk over to the corner and start doing my normal stretches, It's kinda funny how I'm the lead dancer but I get little to no sleep along with being bored with anything "Heyyy" I turn my head to see off brand pikachu "What do you want?" I mumble out trying not to sound interested "I wanted to get to know you" I get out of my bend to spot him leaning on the stretch bar "What do you want to know then" "Well, Why do you have such prominent eye bags... that doesn't look natural" Gotta ask those questions "Can't tell if thats a insult or not but lets just say my mind isn't a fan of sleep" I say continuing my stretch "I don't understand but okay." He shrugged at started copying my movements.

After probably a hour worth of practising we finally get told what we are doing, "We have decided on which dances we will be doing along with what dancers." To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't me since I well don't fit the ideal look for a dancer especially if its with another person. "Shinso and Kaminari will be doing a routine along with, a dance preformed by Ashido and Jiro and Bakugo followed up by Todoroki, Midoriya and Kirishima" Explains Aizawa, Great I have to do some sort duet thing with charger. I also 'love' the fact our coaches decided to have us practice, Come up with a dance, and be comfortable with our partner/s 

"Okay Shinso, what dance style do you wanna do?" He smirked at me "I really don't care" I sighed.

(3rd person POV again)

Denki grabbed Shinsos hand and lead him back to their semi corner, He connected their foreheads and whispered "Follow my lead..." 

A hour passed and being completely honest Shinso was tired, like more tired than normal

Finally it was performance time, A shaky breath escaped the short male, He was in a cropped white shirt with bits of embroided gold with black shorts, And Denki was in a button up white shirt with a loose tie and some trousers. Denki wrapped his arm around the indigo haired male, "Don't worry, I know this is your first time preforming a duet but you killed this while practicing" He winked at Shinso "If you say so..." He mumbled out, "Now welcoming Hitoshi Shinso and Denki Kaminari!" The announcer said "You got this" He gave Shinsos shoulder one more squeeze for good luck and grabbed his hand walking on stage, They started

(Welcome to me wanting to use greatest showman so I decided to :) But imagine Shinso is Zendaya and Denki is Zac efron (Is that how his name is spelt?))

Loud applause echoed through out the auditorium, Shinso rushed into Denkis arms as they exited the stage, Now all they had left was the anxiety of waiting for the results.

"Now can we have all the performers to the stage" Shinso clutched Denkis arm for support...

"In 3rd place we have... (Insert random names)"

"In 1st place... From ____ and _____ (I cant think of band names) Denki Kaminari and Hitoshi Shinsou!" It almost sounded in slow motion, Shinsou excitedly grabbed Denki and pulled him into a hug, The announcer handed them the trophy as Denki grabbed Shinsous face and pulled him into a kiss "See I told you that you could do it" He smirked, 

"Maybe I wasn't tired and bored of everything, Maybe I was missing a spark..."
