It's our last day in La Union, or so I thought. But Darnell suddenly broke the news that he extended our stay here. Hindi ako makapaniwala na inayos pala nito noong nakaraang araw ang bakasyon namin dahil lang sa sinabi kong gusto ko pang pumasyal. Sinabi rin niya na pwede kaming magtungo sa mall kung kailangan pa namin ng mga damit para sa susunod na araw.

Extended vacation it is!

There's more news, I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing but Hillary and her family is also here. It was pure coincidence and I think she went with her best friend, that actress — Lia. Okay lang naman sa akin na nandito sila, I mean hindi ko naman pag-aari itong resort. But I'm worried about Darnell. Mukha naman siyang okay sa kinikilos niya at mukha naman siyang komportable.

Maybe I'm just being anxious for no reason.

We met the couple at the lobby. Hillary looks really gorgeous wearing that mustard boho dress. Mas lalong lumabas ang kaputian niya. Her husband remained silent and just gave us a silent nod.

"Are you having your breakfast?" masiglang tanong ni Darnell

"Yes, we're just waiting for the kids." nakangiting sagot naman ni Hillary

"Hindi niyo kasama si baby Gran?"

Darnell is really fond of baby Gran, I already met him and I can say that he's really adorable. Nakuha nito ang mga mata ng asawa ni Hillary. Namumula din ang kutis niya tulad ni Hillary.

"He's in the room, binabantayan ni Ate Gianna. Tulog na tulog pa kasi siya."

Parang nalungkot ang hitsura ni Darnell nang sabihin iyon ni Hillary. Siguro naalala nito ang anak nila noon kaya gustung-gusto niyang nakikita si baby Gran.

"You can visit him later." biglang sabi ni Grayson na ikinatuwa ni Darnell

"Can I borrow the kids, too?" masiglang tanong ni Darnell

"Seriously, man. Are they really my kids or your kids?" iritadong tanong ni Grayson pero mukhang naman na hindi talaga ito naiinis

I think that's just how he talks to his friends?

Darnell just laughed it off and I guess they already understood each other by just that short conversation. Men really are weird.

"Do you wanna join us for breakfast?" bigla kong tanong nang makaramdam na ako ng gutom

I want to have a chat with them too but while eating. Nagugutom na talaga ako.

"Sure! I would love to." masayang sagot ni Hillary at saktong dumating na rin ang mga bata kasama si Sir Griffin?

Wait. Is that really Sir Griffin? That guy from the banquet?

"Sunny!" Avery squealed and ran towards us when she saw Sunny

Agad naman na bumaba si Sunny mula sa pagkakabuhat ni Darnell at masayang sinalubong si Avery.

"Don't run too much, sweetie." magaang saway sa kanya ni Sir Griffin pero binalewala lang ito ni Avery

It kinda looks weird to hear him say such gentle words after seeing his cruel side at the banquet.

"Kuya, your daughter is really stubborn." nakakunot noong reklamo nito kay Grayson

"Because you spoil her too much." kibit-balikat na sagot naman niya

"Says the man who spoils her too."

Hillary shook her head and pulled me away from the guys. Sinundan namin ang mga batang tuwang-tuwa sa paligid. Or more like Sunny and Avery. Hindi naman kasi makulit si Kairo, he's just silently walking behind the two kids.
