✺ Ducks

Ducks are dangerous species who live on the surfaces of the waters all around the world.

The word duck comes from Old English "diver", a derivative of the verb "dūcan" to duck, bend down low as if to get under something, or dive", because of the way many species in the group feed by upending. Just kidding... DUCK is short for Develish, Ugly, Capricious Killer. Facts.

They seem harmless, nibbling on some bread or seeds, but in reality they are just waiting for you to think that, so you turn your back to them and they can attack.

Their favourite meals consist of human souls and nephilim hearts. In exceptions they also attack werewolves, warlocks and seelies. Only vampires are save.

Ducks breed once a year to bring more evil creatures into this world. Once they are hatching, there is smoke and fire coming through the cracks of the shell.

They seeminly don't really seem to communicate, but they do. Their minds are all tied together and their united plan is to destroy the human kind.

Ducks are evil. It's the truth. It's a Herondale thing.
