I sit on the bed, looking at my phone
Overcome with emotions, you're coming back home.
Thoughts and emotions take over my mind- we've been missing out for so long.
I'll be able to look into your eyes
As welcoming as the earth after a heavy rain.
You're not just a bunch of pixels on my screen anymore.
You're finally here, you're finally home.
But it's so hard to wait now, since you're so close, yet so far from me
AllI want is to hold your hand.
I sigh and close my eyes each night, waiting for time to pass by.
And one day I'll see you.
And say "I'm home again."
I'll feel the warmth of your embrace
And you won't be a pixel anymore.
