"Ah, they won."You mumbled, slightly surprised the fact they won a game without you. Oh well, look who recruited and trained them. You should take the credit the least.

"Raimon's players are pretty impressive . . . We could tell that when we know their master."

You waited for the male to continue, only to realized all three pairs of eyes looking at you simultaneously and your face grimaced,

"They're not my students!"You seethed in reply but they found your reaction was rather amusing when you denied it.

"Well, you acted like their leader-like figure and guiding them along."Your twin reasoned but you quickly hushed him before he could say something more.

"I just want to watch the well-known Raimon's school name going to FFI. Nothing more nor less."You retorted and shaking your head with a sigh, looking away from them to avert your gaze at the yellow-colored jersey team,

"Nevertheless, I'm looking forward for them at the nationals."

One hand of yours flew up to your mouth when you let out a sleepy yawn, tilting your head upwards when your ears caught the sound of ringtone that belonged to Nishikage's phone that soon stopped.

"Takemi is causing disruption. I'll be heading back first."He informed lowly yet loud enough for the three of you to hear as Nosaka only hummed in acknowledge,

"I'm counting on you to handle it."

"Yes."

"Me too will go with you."Your brother volunteered with a sang, leaving along with Nishikage which left only both you and the red-pinkish haired male who turned his head towards you. You would've ignored his stare like usual but . . .

"What, you want me to leave too?"You sarcastically remark when you felt his gaze could burn through your skull. A dramatic gasp left your lips when he didn't say anything to even deny your words,

"That's hurt."A hand was placed one on your chest where your heart located while the other flew up to your mouth, mimicking a look of hurt flashed on your face as you stood up and dropped your act immediately with a laugh when he remained silent which you found the situation is now awkward,

"Haha, I'm just joking. I'll leave then—"

"No."

A warm hand wrapped itself around your wrist, halting you from walking any further and pulled you down back to your seat with a slight force yet he wrapped his arms around your waist beforehand to prevent you from getting hurt,

"Sorry, my mind wandered to somewhere else because of your pretty face."

"And I think your mind is pretty damaged. Want me to make it worse?"

"Haha, you wouldn't dare."

He stopped his antics with an innocent yet nervous laugh when you threatened him by gripping your hand tightly that made a cracking sound while his laughter died down,

"I think I'll do an exclusive interview with Inamori-kun and Haizaki-kun, the stars of the match before I go."

"Really? Then I'm heading back too."

"Not a chance. You'll stay with me."

How could he say that bluntly with a smile?

"Let go of me. I'm not planning on staying, sorry not sorry."You declined his offer, shaking your hand roughly in an attempt to loosen his grip but it looks like he didn't plan on backing down either,

"Let's grab a milk tea later."

As if he said a magic word, your hand stopped and twisted around so the both of you would be holding hands properly while your other free hand grabbed over your spectacles,

"Enough talking. Let's go."

You look serious, that's what Nosaka thought when you patiently waiting for him to say anything in a reply and a thought of you looking like a dog went through his mind.

"Right, let's go."He cracked up a light chuckle with his usual soft smile adorned his lips and stood up, was about to take a step when a thought went through his mind. Eyes wandered around his seat as he reluctantly released your grasp in dismay to rummage his pockets.

"What's wrong?"You inquired once noticing his odd behavior and without looking at you in the eyes, he answered your simple question,

"There's something missing."

One of your eyebrows quirked up,

"What is it? Want me to look for it too?"

He shook his head wordlessly while you stood there in silence, watching his head whipping around to the point that he kneeled down to look under the seat in case.

"What is this 'something'? It seems important to you."You gave him a look of unamused when he didn't answer it at all, as if he's trying to hide his face from you at all cost.

A sigh slipped from your lips and turned your heels around,

I'll be waiting for you at the stadium entrance then."

"Thank you. I'll see you there."

Fully halted in your tracks, you're wondering whether it was only your imagination or that it's really a pain that laced from his voice that he's trying his best to contain it. You ended up looking over his with your body half turned around, hesitated to let your inner thought escape or not,

"Hey, Yuuma. Are you okay?"

There was an odd silence erupted between the two soccer players. More like an awkward silence but you don't mind it at all. Eyes of [ color ] crystal remained gazing on the male's back.

"So? Are you going to tell me or not?"

The frown on your face deepened and eventually, you clicked your tongue in annoyed. Turning around to walk away with an angry huff,

"Do what you want."

He heard your footsteps. They're getting further. He wants to scream for you to wait but this damn pain in the ass tumor wouldn't let him doing so. The pain is almost unbearable.

"Don't worry, "His eyes widened when your voice reached in his ears but he didn't make any effort to lift his head up so you wouldn't see how pathetic he looks like,

"I'll still be waiting for you at the entrance. But don't get me wrong!"You quickly added at the end and softly and smiling at the male despite he couldn't see how beautiful you looks like right now, "It was all for the milk tea. Milk. Tea."

The way you emphasized those two words bring a smile back up to his face even the pain didn't show any sign of going away.

Once again, your footsteps were heard but soon it fades away. Exhaling a low shaky breath, his body collapsed against the cold concrete floor with darkness fully consumed his vision.

He barely could hear another footsteps that seems like the source of the sound is heading towards him while running.

". . . you okay?!"

That's not your voice.
