--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- afraid, tnbh

time slowly passed. Schlatt was at lost of words. he didn't understand what was happening... Carson was in the correct position. they knew there was going to be a police investigation. if the officers died in the house, killed by their own weapons, what happened to Carson? there was no other cars outside, nor officers... Cooper had their backs. as Schlatt sat in his office chair, he leaned back and stared at the mess of papers and dried blood that was previously caused years ago. confusion filled his brown eyes as he couldn't help but fear. was he caught some other time? right behind their backs? letting out a tiny sigh, the male turned around in his chair and got up. he was going to find his friend if it was the last thing he'd do. he couldn't lose one of their men... not yet, at least. moving his body to the couch, Schlatt stared at the boarded-up window. something.. something was wrong, but what. tiny footsteps approached Schlatt before Travis came into his view. the younger boy gave a sweet smile and sat beside his friend on the couch.

"i was just wanting to watch some tv." Travis said quietly, Schlatt only nodding and sitting back. he couldn't help but to think. it was truly a mystery. was there someone wanting to compete with Lunch Club? was Carson kidnapped? if so, was it a daily kidnap or someone who really knew who he was? Schlatt couldn't help but question himself as he looked around the still messy house. he then turned to Travis. "hey do you.. think there are any clues on where Carson could be? i can't stop rattling my brain around about it. it's stressing me out." Schlatt asked quietly. he knew probably everyone was worried. then again, not only did Schlatt lose one of his men, but everyone lost their friend. maybe... maybe he could be dead. as that thought came across Schlatts head he couldn't help but to quickly get up from the couch. staring at his own hands, he looked at Travis with big eyes. the younger boy looked confused.

slowly, he spoke up, "all i remember is him being ordered to go to the back of the house. in the backyard. i don't think anyone got back there though... you can check back there for anything just in case." resulting in Schlatt nodding, he gave a small smile to Travis and quickly ran to the back. he had a small knife in his pocket, he was ready to use it if needed. quietly opening the door, Schlatt looked around before stepping out onto the grass and the endless abyss to a forest. sneaking around, he checked every last rock to make sure nothing seems off. no torn clothes left, no shoe prints, why did this seem too flawless for it to be something casual. Schlatt looked around, up, down, side to side, any hidden cameras? his head then turned towards the forest. "fuck.." Schlatt mumbled quietly. anything could be out there.

walking back inside, Schlatt decided to go to bed for the night. someone else was out there. someone wanted their power and money. someone wanted their.. work to be taken over and hidden. why was this happening? why was everything Schlatt worked towards falling apart? letting out a sigh, he relaxed into his mattress. he wasn't going to deal with this tonight. they were already losing too much...
