slow. slow and steady. endless nights of Schlatt staying up, sitting at his office desk. papers scattered the surface. there was no way to see the wood. he felt like he was losing his mind. absolutely no sleep. he wanted to find answers. why was everyone getting taken? why was his dream gang being ripped away from him? it finally ended in a sob leaving his mouth. running a hand through his fluffy brown hair, Schlatt gripped his hair and leaned forward. a few tears ran down his face as he started to cry. god. he felt so weak. so helpless. useless... but that's when an alarm went off. something he had set ages ago. it was time for another mission. as Schlatt slowly looked up, he sniffed as some tears ran down his face. slowly getting up, he dragged himself out of the office. everyone was sitting at the table. they looked alive. Schlatt, on the other hand, didn't really look the best. wiping the now dried tears on the sleeve of his blazer, Schlatt approached the group.

"listen.. i know it's been hard with two of our greatest members gone, but we have another mission. someones been trying to tamper with our work." Schlatt started to explain. the slender figure stood there, watching the faces of his comrades. he felt sick. before he could continue the story, he heard Charlie speak up. "sorry for interrupting, but you look like you haven't slept. are you going to be able to work?" Charlie questioned. Schlatt could only stare. in all honesty, he wasn't sure. would he fail? probably. taking a small deep breath, Schlatt forced a smile. "i'll try to be!" he responded. Charlie could only watch. a weird look washed over his face before he looked down. "let's go get ready." Schlatt called out. everyone couldn't help but nod and get up from the table. they all went off and grabbed their weapons. any safety... anything to succeed this fight with limited people and supplies. they were slowly coming to an end.

as their door swung open, the group was on their way. they all possessed their respective weapons. Schlatt lead the group once again. then followed Noah, Charlie, Ted and Travis. that's how their formation is... kinda. Schlatt couldn't help but to worry. it was a one against five, but it was still worrisome. it hurt his head a bit. he decided to take in a deep breath and continue going. it'll be fine. it will be dealt with. everything will work out. hearing the chatter of his comrades calmed him down a bit. the walk there was dreadful. but they suddenly found themselves in the spot. almost face to face with this strange man. the one who was fucking them over. Schlatt reached into his blazer. "nice to see you here." he said. the other only nodded. the comrades behind the leader slowly got their weapons ready. "i see it's a one versus five... hah. well. let's see your fight." and at that, they charged.

the sound of weapons going off, metal hitting each other, Charlie and Ted firing the guns like mad men. bullets bounced off the walls of this abandoned suburb. Travis stayed behind a bit, firing arrows here and there. it was enough to distract the victim. Noah and Schlatt worked together, knives swinging here and there. it felt like a slight shit show. blood flew into the air, splattering onto both parties. screams filled the abandoned area. but that was until Charlie got a bullet fired into the victims chest. he slowly stepped back and tumbled to the ground. he felt horrified. what did he just do? Travis was rather quick to run over. Schlatt glanced over and felt a hit to his legs. the victim, now on the ground, gasping for air, hit Schlatt's legs. the force made him tumble. Noah grunted, about to throw his knife before his scream filled the air. Schlatt glanced up .. but Noah was no where to be seen. Travis, Charlie and Ted were too busy with themselves to notice. Schlatt stared off, slowly getting up. "No- Noah...?" he asked quietly.

tw// pretty detailed gore ahead; Ted slowly looked over and saw Schlatt standing up. his eyes moved to the bleeding out victim and saw him try to swing at Schlatt. that was when Ted grabbed his gun and fired a bullet to the victims head. the bullet caused blood to splatter everywhere, bits of his flesh and tissue, even his brain, splattered along the walls. chunky bits of blood landed on the ground as the body hit it with a force. the sound of the gun going off is what caused Schlatt to look down at the victim. the look of chunks of his brain and tissue made Schlatt just stare. "Noah..." he whispered to himself. Ted glanced at him and tilted his head. "what do you mean, Schlatt?" he asked. Schlatt slowly looked over. horror was glazed over his eyes. "he's gone."
