No justifications that the girl was not going to be returned to her previous life, with her previous caretaker.
Her mother, who surely added to the chaos already brewing within the Avengers, and hence, created much friction between many—but undoubtedly between the reality of the matter.
Between the adoptive father, and daughter, whose relationship... bond, have easily suffered the most from this Civil War.
Things have been impulsively said, misconstrued... but, nothing was more severe than what finalized the distressing incident.
