his subtle words,

very passive-aggressive words

hit you right where they hurt

they make you feel like a waste,

then he tells you he loves you

and it will be okay

his subtle words,

very passive-aggressive words

I don't know if they come from a place of love

or wanting to flee, too

but he can't leave either,

much to his dismay

sometimes, I want to fly away

like a paper airplane

don't know where I'll go,

but it's better than here

we have people to take care of,

we have many things to do

we might not want to fly away

so we can love them as we should

sometimes, I want to fly away

like a paper airplane

but if the wind wants to keep me here,

then I will remain
